Love Bites.
My other two favorite songs are already on the setlist (Blood Red Skies & Night Crawler) but I would love to experience that terrifying trio live.
Plus it's a fan favorite and the riff is to die for.

Eagerly awaiting the Metal Gods in Linköping! \m/

Here are 3 crazy things I'd love to see from the 3rd row in Lowell, MA:

A duet between Rob & Joan Baez. You know the song.

Ian playing a 5 minute solo; front & center.

Priest playing a version of Bob Dylan's The Ballad of Frankie Lee & Judas Priest.

Songs? Anything that inspires the Metal Gods on 11-20-11.

RECKLESS !

Tyrant.. nuff said!

Never turn your back on the Ripper ! T.O .

[emoyag] Friday, November 04, 2011 6:11:37 PM

PLEASE, PLEASE play THE RIPPER. He's an old friend and we would like to say goodbye to him one more time. He has been with you guys since 1975 and it's not fair we don't get to give him a proper farewell.

So , for your WINSTON-SALEM NC NOV 27 GIG your set list must include:
1-RUN OF THE MILL
2-THE RIPPER
3-FREEWHEEL BURNING
4-GENOCIDE AND/OR TYRANT
5 ROCKA ROLLA
8-HELL PATROL
7- ALL GUNS BLAZING
8-THE RAGE
9-SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE
10-CALL FOR THE PRIEST

YES, I know this is just wishful thinking, you haven't changed the set list in over 50 concerts already but there's nothing wrong with dreaming. Just playing one song from the above list would make your real fans happy and would make the concert a one-of -a -kind event. Think about it, my son (13) and I will be on the 4th row enjoying whatever you guys choose to play but it would make our night if you would only play... ( see list above).....

To the GREATEST band of ALL time-
I have not always been a fan, as a matter of fact, I turned fan when my husband introduced me to your
music 13 years ago and I have been addicted since. My husband Mike is disabled, however, we will
both be in attendance in General admisssion tomorrow night at your Salt Lake City show, just as we
were in 2005. The reason I write you is because, my husband loves your music and it has got him
through many rough patches in this life. I was hoping that if at all possible, we could meet you the BAND.
Even for 30 seconds. Iknow you get these requests ALL the time, but the impact of who you are and What you
do would be better to him then any other wish in the world. We recently got married last month after 13 years
and two beautiful children, whom are also PRIEST fans. If you read this and you have 30 seconds of time, could you
please consider spending it with the one man whom I know is worthy in all ways of this world.
Thank you so very much an we look forward to a GREAT show that we know youwill give us tomorrow night!
Till then... Keep it real and rockin :)

Hey Guys...

I know this is last minute, but I was wondering if I can ask for a ballad to be dedicated to Chef Marion, in Calgary Alberta tomorrow night Nov.2.

Marion has been a life long fan of the band, as I am, however her mother just past away on Saturday Night, with Marion at her side and holding her hand, after a brief fight with terminal lung cancer.

Marion will be seated in executive box seating, as I am diabled and can no longer be in stagefront seating, and she got these tickets as part of our 15th anniversary celebrations in Aug. of this year.

Since the time of purchase, Marion has been devastated by the loss of her mother, and now this concert is a way for Marion to have a few hours of fun, before she has to
memorialize and bury her mom this weekend.

If there is any chance that a ballad can be dedicated to Chef Marion and her mother Ethel, I would be forever in your debt.

I am a retired firefighter/wildfire specialist, with a broken neck and broken back, and we don't get out much these days, and this concert is a special way for us to spend time together, and say goodbye to a band, and it's musicians,
who have brought us a life time of great tunes and great memories. As this is the last we will see of Judas Preist, and of Marion's mom, it will be a difficult week for us. I would think an unexpected dedication of a ballad in respect of Marions loss
would be a life long memory that one big fan would never forget.

I ask you from the bottom of my heart, is there anyway a ballad can be dedicated to Chef Marion and her mom, as a special way of saying goodbye to both her mom and the band?

Either way, if this cannot be done on such short notice, I respect this. From us to the band, We thank you for a lifetime or great memories, great songs, and absolutly bit*h'n concerts!

Live well and retire gracefully, you have all deserved it.

Thanks!

GENOCIDE!!!

[Tyrant] Wednesday, October 26, 2011 4:18:05 PM
Glenn............

You must play Reckless! Even if its only in the MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA  SHOWS ! lmfao , and it would be nice to dedicate it to Tyrant ! lmfao @ that to.

If i may say something without offending, we have all the dvd's and live albums, i would like to see a few of the standards dropped , livin after midnight, breaking the law, aspecially, to make room for songs like Reckless, last time in Melb you did Eat me alive , which was fucking awsome...

Livin after midnight and some others are still perhaps really popular in the usa perhaps , but like i said we have them on dvd , Australian fans i think are alittle different , and i hope the oz fans perhaps put some thoughts up. Maybe in Australia a more fan based set list could happen...

For me .. Reckless of course, The rage, The sentinal, Never satisfied, Island of domination, Free wheel burning, Burning up, Eat me alive, Rock hard ride free, Beyond the realms of death, Electric eye,Take these chains, Killing machine,Evening star, Old to be wise , Turning in circles, Trouble shooter! I would be happy just to hear these only in a show , can you see my angle on this !

My question to Rob and Glenn , is it possible to alter the set list enough for countries / places you are playing , like mine for example .

My other question is , out of all the shows you do on this tour, why cant the one off performances of songs such as some i have mentioned be recorded,  and placed on dvd as a collection, i dont care if its different nights, you are in different clothes or sweating your arse off in on clip and fresh as a daisy in another, this would be a great way to do a hell of alot of songs over the whole tour and we could have a hard copy to see all the songs we have and would never get to see.

I love Rocka Rolla more songs could be done from that over the many nights......

I am not not sure if you guys actually see or read these perhaps ideas are given to you from here, not sure , but i would love to hear about this idea from some 1

If this is perhaps the last time we may see you live, i dont want to waste a god dam minite, i want to see stuff i like and other aussie fans .

I would love to hear Rob, or Glenns thoughts on these very matters.......

Tyrant..

Never turn your back, on the Ripper ! T.O.

P.S.
I do know this means you would have to rehearse a hell of alot songs, but SOD IT,  you are JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST !  LMFAO!

[emoyag] Sunday, October 09, 2011 7:02:38 PM
Hell of a list TREE!    I would love:

RUN OF THE MILL( Please blow your true long-time fans mind with this one)
ALL GUNS BLAZING
TYRANT
GENOCIDE
ROCKA ROLLA ( at least a few riffs then you can go to the drum intro of Living After Midnite)
THE RIPPER
FREEWHEEL BURNING ( one of the coolest videos of the 80's)
SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE ( these 2 songs would be awesome with a real drummer like Scott)

Come on guys, you haven't changed a single song since the tour started. Take a couple days of your break to rehearse these songs. You won't be sorry and your fans won't be either.

Can't agree with you there I'm afraid - Never Satisfied, Starbreaker, Night Crawler & Blood Red Skies are certainly four very welcome additions.

As for having the same setlist since 2004, JP have actually done quite well in mixing in different songs (along with the usual & expected classics), namely:

2005: Riding On The Wind, Judas Rising, Revolution, Hot Rockin', I'm A Rocker, Deal With The Devil, Hellrider, Exciter, Worth Fighting For, Solar Angels & Desert Plains.

2006: Take On The World

2008: Prophecy, Eat Me Alive, Between The Hammer & The Anvil, Devil's Child, Hell Patrol, Death, Dissident Aggressor, Angel, Rock Hard Ride Free & Sinner.

2010: Rapid Fire, Grinder, You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise, The Rage, Steeler & Freewheel Burning.

Not to mention acoustic &/or electric versions of Diamonds & Rust as well.

Setlist will remain the same throughout the US which is obvious. Thanks for no dusted classics and basically the same setlist since 2004. OK Blood Red Skies which Rob is now basically talking through and Starbreaker which has been bloody awful. No gems here..

What a great idea finding out what fans like. I saw on youtube 3 diffrent videos of 3 diffrent guys playing "Wheels Of Fire ".....never heard of the song before till a cool dude at work said he was playing it in HIS band. But my true favorite song is " Out In The Cold ". That opening keyboard riff is immediately powerful and certianly possess a terribly wintery feel to it.

You know you guys didn't play THE RIPPER in your European tour and I kind of think us fans in America would like to give our old, old friend The Rip a proper farewell.

So FREEWHEEL BURNING & THE RIPPER would be great addition for the USA tour.

Note: Don't forget  to play RUN OF THE MILL on your WINSTON-SALEM, NC gig, you guy have 2 days off before this concert ( and 2 days off after it) so you could sneak in a little rehearsal and get the song down- after all it's only 37 years ago that you laid it down on the fantastic ROCKA ROLLA lp.

Too late for me as well - saw them at Wolverhampton, High Voltage & Bournemouth & each was better than the last. Best bits, for me, was Rob saying about sitting in the audience to see David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust at the Civic Hall in his home town of Wolverhampton. Glenn's out of tune guitar messing up the start of "Victim Of Changes" at High Voltage, much to Richie's amusement & lastly Rob putting his everything into "Victim..." at Bournemouth - might not have been the biggest crowd, but he certainly blew them away!

(Rob did say there was 25,000 at High Voltage though).

Thought I saw / heard Glenn suggest, not so long ago that they may change one or two songs for the US tour... in which case:

November 10, 2011, Family Arena in St. Charles, MO (listed as St. Louis), Please Please Please Please consider playing "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll".  Loved that long since Defenders of the Faith was released.  Come on guys, even if it's just Halford playing it on the spoons during intermission or something, it would make my day!!! Please???
[emoyag] Monday, July 18, 2011 10:12:57 PM
When (if) you guys get down to The Carolinas please play  RUN OF THE MILL.  This gem is hands-down the best song on the album and one of Priest best ever. I know you guys are trying to play at least 1 song from each album and One For The Road is a great song but RUN OF THE MILL is the sh*t. The lyrics, guitars and overall tone easily shows that  the Priest doesn't have to play at 100mph all the time to be the heaviest band ever.
Hey Guys: " What have you achieved now that you are old?........Come down and show us!!!
[prisoner] Monday, July 11, 2011 12:27:45 PM
Sadly (and very annoyingly for myself and my wife), we won't be able to see Priest on this final tour...

But I have to say that it would be amazing to get 'Blood Red Skies' in there - I can just picture the lights fading down to individual spotlights as the moody opening seduces the crowd - then the cheers and screams as the main riff kicks in, and the lights come up full, and Judas Priest are there rocking one of their best epics, screaming defiance to the night!

And if a DVD was released with that, you'd have one guaranteed sale in us!

JUDAS PRIEST FOREVER!!!

From someone in the USA, I second this request 100%!

PLEAAASE follow "Tyrant's" suggestions. I and most true Defenders are onboard for all the same reasons. If not this concert, how about an announced "one-off" of the lesser-known songs just  for the diehards?

LMFAO!

I know what you've been playing in this tour till now, and... it's good, but there are several songs which are absolutely indispensable and you're not performing. I mean:

Sinner
Freewheel burning
Ram it Down
Delivering the goods
Grinder
Love bites
Riding on the wind
United
Rocka Rolla
Better by you, better than me

Believe me, please. We need to hear them.

See you in Spain,

Love.

When they finish Epitaph tour, Priest should do some special shows, and play full albums, like they did British Steel. That would be mind blowing!
