Another one gone from us this year. Carriel portrayed a powerful young woman when all women were still seen as in need of being rescued. All our people we grew up with. Far to young. You right JD. Does give someone pause to think that if you don't embrace life now and really participate, you could just be gone any moment now. We've all lived to an age that any thought of being long lived simply because your just sure you will be is just not enough.

Makes ya think the older ya get you should live each day as full and appreciative as ya can,but it's hard to remember that for some reason....get caught up with stuff thats really not as important. Princess Leia?!? Carrie Fisher? Nooooooooooooo!!!!! What a tragic loss. While she hated the gold bikini in the Jabba the Hutt scene (loved killing him as she stated), may she RIP knowing that the image of her in that outfit along with her entire career in front of the camera as a witty author and as an activist will make her live on forever. Yet another sad way to close 2016.

Even watching my own post, I can name all the films but the ones that made me laugh (unsung) were Stir Crazy and Silver Streak. Every time he got thrown off that train and that "SON OF A BITCH!" Just made me laugh like crazy. Richard Pryor and even Scatman Crothers in it (and even Jaws from Bond fame?) just icing on the cake. Damn good film.
