BLACK SABBATH - HEADLESS CROSS (Underrated Classic)
Love Tony Martin's Voice such an underrated Sabbath Singer, I should know :p massive Sabbath fan got all their albums \M/ long live Black Sabbath I rate Tony Martin as high as Ozzy & Dio and Ian Gillan all four are fantastic Singers and all added somethin different to Sabbath in Style and Sound.

OZZY IS THE NUMBER ONE, BUT DIO IS THE SECOND
WE CAN'T SAY THAT OZZY IS GREAT BUT DIO IS NOT OR CONVERSALY
EACH MUISICIAN UNIQUE IN HIS OWN
if you like more Dio then it's your right
i respect and like them both

This is a 2010 album but I think it's a classic already. Really different but awesome if you give it a chance. It's called The Guessing Game and it's by Cathedral. Here's one of my faves from it, Death Of An Anarchist.

HAAAA!!! Take a close look at the cup on that table. It is a MSU Rose Bowl glass. It was probably 1989 or so.
One of those guys might look so familiar because he was in a bunch of local bands. The guy with the long hair closest to me taking the shot. Long black hair with the tat and hat. Andy Dryer was his name and his band always used to play at the Art Fest. "Caliope" or something was one of his main bands. He started as a clean-cut kid playing trumpet in the marching band and ended up dropping out becoming an MSU fixture. Worked at Warehouse Records for a while as well. Other guy with the dark hair worked at the Habitrail parking structure by State Discount. All of us were Rather / Brody rats. It was a little hard to see through all the pot smoke! When was that pic taken? I told you before that I think we may have crossed paths back then and never knew it - some of those people in that picture look really familiar!!

It was a GREAT show and well worth it! We had a blast and they sounded great! Last time I saw them was back in '88 for the Monsters of Rock show at the Silverdome - I know you were there too Guido. They were great then and they were great this summer.

CLASSIC Scorpions! I don't think they had a more solid album than "Love at First Sting." Sure, borderline R&R but I had forgotten just how many damn good tunes were on it.
Anyone see their "goodbye" tour? Worth it? While I'd like to go out to give them their props, I would hate that they get into their long ballads that seemed to dominate most of their later works.
