What a show last night.
i would not class my self a fan of Testament yet cause i havent got any of their albums, but they were amazing last night so think im gunna have to get me a few.
Megadeth were good, amazing set list dave singing live is not the best in the world though.
I was near the middle front for priest, & they were on fire last night.
probley the best time i have seen them, robs singing was on top form.
so much better than watching them at download for all the lights, people ect.
fav songs of the night had to be Eat Me Alive,Sinner, & Death.
even a lil pit for Painkiller was pretty kool.
Such a great atmosphere last night as well dident hear any megadeth fans bitching about priest or vise versa.
lots of priest chants, and many people singing along to War Pigs was fun. |

The Manchester show was absolutely amazing! Rob was hitting notes that he hadn't hit in a long time (the best being the scream at the beginning of Between The Hammer and The Anvil) and the rest of the band were on top form. I hope someone posts that performance of BTHATA on youtube just so i can hear that scream again. I was right at the front and KK gave me a thumbs up at the end. Absolutely amazing band with some amazing songs and brillinat st6age presence. The best gig I have seen in my life! |

Manchester gig last night was MINDBLOWING, a great vibe, band clearly enjoying themselves, songs were brilliant-even Angel which I had previously dismissed as a sappy power ballad, was beautiful live.
One thing though- twenty-five minutes late on stage? That's a bit off. I'd forgiven and forgotten by the time they got to Eat me alive, but there was a fair amount of grumbling going on beforehand. |

Amen to that- love the Apollo. The MENs too big and impersonal (I'm sure I've had a rant on here about it before). My first time seeing Priest. 'Deth I saw at Download two years ago, it was only a short set though- thanks for posting the list Den.
I'm so buzzing, can't believe I've not actually been to a gig since Slayer in October, and now this? |

Actually Dan, they pulled off Dissident Agressor quite well when they played it last August at the Camden, NJ show. Thrashing, hard and heavy the rythm was! Good solid, head banging music!
