How DARE you malign the man who won the Nobel Peace Prize!
Now don't call me a hater but I only ask: WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO?!?!?! This simple act of giving it to him has lowered the esteem I used to have for the Nobel Prize to no end. Pitiful. I hope someone can explain it to me. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by SkyRideR from Monday, October 26, 2009 6:29:29 PM) | | SkyRideR wrote: | | what a puppet:

I heard people saying the gas prices were sky high because Bush is an oil man , and Bush orchestrated the 9/11 attacks , without any valid proof I just think that is ridiculous.
I have to admit I am a Republican. I don't believe in socialism or spreading the wealth. Our country was made on free enterprise not some politician who taxes the shit out of us and spends our money to his benefit. Thats all I have to say on this matter. |

HAHA well George W.Bush fucked up our economy ten times over you know it and I know it,I hate politics anyways and I am neither a republican or a democrat but I know as well as everybody that "W" fucked our economy up big time man,you just can't hide it anymore it just doesn't work like that these days. People can see right through it and it is a shame that he was in office for 8 straight years. Fuck "dubya". The only problem with your theory is during those times who controlled the house and senate ? The only reason clinton years were good was the republican "CONTRACT WITH AMERICA" I'm afraid the Dems had control for 2 of the last four years of Bush. Barney Frank and the sub prime lending really fucked up our country.
Now Clinton has free secret service/ health care for life and all he cared about was using cigars as dildos. WTF !!!! |

Well our economy is in the shitter and George W.Bush has been at the healm for 8 freaking straight years...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out "who" fucked our economy up.
1980-1988 was Regan(republican) 1988-1992 was George Bush Senior.(republican) 1992-2000 was Clinton(democrat) 2000-20008 George W.Bush(republican).
So from 1980 to 2008 (thats 28 years) we have had republicans in office for 20 of the 28 years. So you can hardly blame the democrats for the economy...sorry Freeze!! HAHAHAH!!! |

US politics is never discussed with an open mind and serious dissention from either party line is kept quiet. |

I agree with you HB, guess I should have stated that. Much like anything else, decisions are made given the information available at the time to try to solve a problem. Whether they are good or bad cannot be seen for at least a few years. All that can really be done is hope in the long run the decisions made will be for the positive instead of the negative. Politics is such a touchy subject but always a good point for discussion as long as people are open-minded about it. Edited at: Tuesday, September 08, 2009 1:05:37 PM |

any leader trying to enact serious change will not see results for a long time. wether they start from a good position or bad the changes take a long time. at the presidential level changes to say the economy take years to have an effect.
