Sin After Sin (1977) - the first Priest album I was ever exposed to
Stained Class (1978) - the greatest heavy metal album of all time
Sad Wings of Destiny (1976) - what a trio with the above two
Rocka Rolla (1974) - the best kept secret of the 1970's
Point of Entry (1981) - the album isn't as good as others that they've done, but "Desert Plains" and "Solar Angels" are two of my favorite Priest songs, coupled with the fact that this album is a great one to cruise the open road to :-)

1. Painkiller, because all songs are so great in Painkiller!
2. Screaming for Vengeance. Well I like so much these songs: You've Got Another Thing Comin', Riding on the Wind, Bloodstone, Devil's Child, Hellion/Electric Eye and of course Screaming for Vengeance!
3. Turbo. It's underrated album, but I like it.
4. Angel of Retribution. This album is great, because it's Halford's comeback album. Judas Rising, Revolution, Hellrider, Worth Fighting For and Deal With the Devil!
5. Hmmm... It's hard to choose what album could be 5. Hmm... I say British Steel because without this album Judas Priest wouldn't be so great! Breaking the Law!!!! And of course Living After Midnight, United and Metal Gods! |

I really didn't want to post here as doing so commits me to this list. I feel the need to add that it is really hard for me to rate their albums against each other as they are all so diverse from each other and as a result I have differing memories attached to each of them.
1 Hell Bent For Leather (Killing Machine)
This album is what turned me on to Priest!! '79 was not ready for this release and neither was I!!!
2 Sad Wings Of Destiny
After hearing HBFL, I rushed out to find other albums from Priest and this one was next. Loved every song!!!
3 Screamin' For Vengeance
A complete album of Metal at it's finest!!!
4 British Steel
What more could possibly be said that hasn't been said already? I believe Metal's first true album!!!
5 Painkiller
Couldn't have come at a better time. Trial over with and full of rage, and I was so tired of Nirvana and the Seattle scene already. I needed Metal and the GODS delivered!!! |

I can't really say due to the fact that I loved Priest in the 70s, 80s (including Painkiller) and since their reunion.
I'll put it the other way I don't listen to Turbo and Point Of Entry without skipping some of the songs... |

1. Screaming for Vengeance - Pure Priest. My favorite Priest song, Devils Child, is also here so it's got to be my #1.
2. Defenders of the Faith - So many great tracks...track for track, probably the most great songs on one album.
3. Hell Bent for Leather - How could you not like this album?
4. Painkiller - Showed that Priest could shred with the best of 'em.
5. Nostradamus - So big, so epic, so GREAT. With songs like Conquest, Lost Love, Exiled and so many more, I have to put this new album in my top 5. |
