Bathory - Massacre - 1985!!!! Although Bathory came out in 1983,this album "Under The Sign Of The Black mark"(1985)was the first album that had what would later be "norwegian black metal vocals". Euronymous and Dead worshiped this album and Quarthon's vocals...and obvoisly this album is what influenced the norwegian black metal scene with bands like Mayhem,Darkthrone,Burzum,Immortal,Emperor,Gorgoroth,Carpathian Forest and other bands that followed after them.

LOL! No offense taken hellrider, black metal has never really been your cup of tea as almost every true black metal band has this style of vocals, high pitched cackling screams like Dead(r.i.p.) from old Mayhem,Nocturno Culto from Darkthrone,Abbath from Immortal,Nattefrost from Carpathian Forest,ect.,..ect...it all stems from Quarthon(r.i.p.) from "Bathory".

I know very well that you were not trying to dog my opinion, so I'm not butt hurt at all. I'm an open-minded person and I was simply asking you for some recommendations. That's all. I will definitely check out Black Foot and Foghat. What else do you recommend? I know a shitload of bands, but I don't know everything. I'm always on the lookout for top notch metal and rock. You see? I'm not butt hurt at all.

Steppenwolf are the best biker band. They have lots of cool songs.

But of course mighty hellrider....Judas Priest may tear at the skull but now this is something that "rips your face off". This is not "noise" this is talented black metal from a band that was once great....Enthroned 2004 "Crimson Legions"...listen to this entire track hellrider.....this entire album kicks fucking ass and this song fucking crushes the Jehovah spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Are you supposed to "shut me down"  had I not named any "biker" bands from the 70's or 80's??(lol) Just because there are not an abundance of "biker bands" doesn't make "Circus Of Power"  a great band to me,maybe not to you.I wasn't trying to dog your opinion as obviously you are butt hurt(lol!)but man they really don't sound like what would be "biker rock" ...I just can't see any bikers throwing down thier Motorhead albums and pumping what sounds to me as a late 80's Guns N Roses styled band, and to me Guns N Roses are not "biker music".To me biker music would be Motorhead,Ted Nugent,Black Foot,Foghat and shit like that, but this band doesn't cross my ears as something a biker dude would be rollin, thats all.

I like them. You hate them. That's fine. We all have our personal opinions.

You know what, J.D.? I challenge YOU to give me some titles of songs that sound like real biker metal/rock to your ears (apart from Motörhead). And I'm not talking about modern stuff, I'm talking about old-school stuff from the eighties or seventies. Give me some titles of songs or albums I should check out and who knows... maybe you'll get me into a new band.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by J.D. Going To Brazil!!! Who couldn't like this song if they like rock and roll?? Flyin' down to Rio we're going to Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A+ !!!!!!
[J.D. DIAMOND] Wednesday, December 09, 2009 5:31:30 PM
Nightmare/The Dream time? Are you kiddding me? lol! I LOVE THIS FUCKIN TRACK!!! Not very rock and roll? So what?? lol!! This track is awsome!!! This just goes to show all of our musical differences. Some people like Nostradamus, others don't.I hate it. Its the same thing here....just a difference of opinion, thats all. Now that "Love Me Forever" track is the one that sucks. But those 9 tracks I mentioned are excellent Motorhead...."Make My Day"....."Shut You Down".... those are classic Motorhead tracks Joe,can't see how a Motorhead fan wouldn't like those tracks, but I respect your opinion as well so....

What about that Nightmare/The dream Time song? You like that? It sounds like it belongs in a really cheesy 80s horror movie. Not very rock n roll.

But yeah looking at the tracklisting it is better then I thought. Its just the horribleness of those songs that suck that ruins it for me haha.

Normally Motorhead albums work like this.

4 or 5 sweet fucking songs.

The rest are medicore. Usually about war, dissing god, etc.

Thats been there standard for DECADES haha.

On this one though, those songs that are bad and so bad it ruins the album for me.

Wow,that really doesn't "sound" like "biker rock and roll" it sounds like a washed up MTV hair band that wants to be "Axl Rose" and Guns N Roses to me and my ears.No offense, but that is not good biker rock.

Oh no way Joe,are you kidding?? LOL!! 1916 is a great album to my ears:

 1. The One To Sing The Blues
 2.I'm So Bad(Baby I Don't Care)
 3.No Voices In The Sky
 4.Going To Brazil
 5.Nightmare/The Dream Time
 7..Angel City
 8.Make My Day
 9.Ramones
10..Shut You Down

Those 9 tracks off of 1990's album "1916" are excellent Motorhead, totally raw production and classic Motorhead tracks!!  11 songs off of this album and the only 2 songs that suck are track # 6(Love Me Forever) and the last track #11 "1916".   So to me this album is awsome dude, just goes to show all of our opinions vary. But I'm definately sticking up for this excellent Motorhead album and would recomend any Motorhead fans to buy this album.Just don't buy or listen to "March Or Die"..that album sucks. lol!

I've never been a big fan of Motörhead. I really respect them, but I never got into their music. That doesnt mean I dislike their genre. I just don't like Lemmy's voice. I always listen to the New York band Circus Of Power if I want to hear some old-school heavy biker rock n' roll:
