To ALL of my dear, dear friends here on the Board I wish to say, THANK YOU! There are no words that can adequately express the sense gratitude I feel towards all of you. I do not think I would have made it through the night last night without your sincere wishes and wonderful words of support!!!! Well, the nurse just took the Princess away for her big stress test. In about an hour or so we should know more. Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst. That is really all I can do. |

a good doctor is key. they can relieve so much stress, which is a huge aid in healing itself. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Friday, January 16, 2009 10:59:11 AM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | They are going to do a "stress test" shortly. Our doctor was in a while ago and said there is a 50/50 chance that it is a heart condition. If that is so, she would have to remain here a couple more days and they will do MORE tests, including an angiogram. If the stress test is negative, she will return home with me today and we will make an appointment with the doctor for treatment.
I am thankful for the wonderful care she is receiving. We are at one of the TOP hospitals in Vegas. Very well renowned for cardiology. She is in excellent hands. I am worried, of course, but I am so very grateful fo rthe care. |

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mike. Please keep me posted... [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Thursday, January 15, 2009 5:45:38 PM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Hello all. I want to apologize for the following post but I have had a really BAD day.
The Princess went to her doctor's appointment this morning. She has been feeling really bad the last few days ( more than usual). Anyway, I received a call from her advising that an ambulance had been called for her and she was being taken to the hospital. By the time I got there and found her, I was a freakin wreck. I just now got home. They are going to keep her there overnight for more tests, however, it appears she has a heart condition. This kind of thing runs in her family. Her father has had three heart attacks.
From what I am being told, she has a heart block (NOT blockage). What that means is, her heart beats in an odd fashion. It literally drops a beat every few. A cardiologist will see her in the morning. I am told she should be allowed to leave tomorrow if all the remaining tests are OK. In any event, I am not myself and I suppose I should get offline for a while. Thanks for letting me vent! |
