I was breatheless all the time and had a big tension
and trembling allover. I could not go out -
I could not stay in - I could not sleep at all -
I thought I must die - no one can imagine this hard
pressure - you go from one doctor to another
and no one helps you - this relaxing of Jacobson
I could do a half year later it helped me to come
over of my trembling and fast breathing
I felt like to explode in fact of my hard pressure
and tensions allover....

I have to live with it. I am not embarrassed to tell
I had one year panic attacks ~ I am proud of it that I
could heal myself ~ no one has to feel ashamed
about it's wrong - it's no brainsickness - it's a cry
for help - if your soul is sick no body can see it -
but you can feel the pain deep inside - I feel for you -
believe on yourself - don't feel embarrassed to talk
about and be proud of yourself what you have

The first and last time I went ice skating was in 1984. I went with my cousins and it was after Torvill and Dean won their medal for their routine with Ravel's Bolero (one of my favourite pieces of music, by the way). I was terrible. Couldn't hardly stand without falling over. My cousin had to hold my hand. Bolero was playing loudly over the speakers and I wobbled my way around the rink like Bambi. After about 20 minutes a teenage boy, showing off to his friends, skated backwards super-fast and we collided. I ended up on my back. Ached for a week. It was agony! I vowed to never go skating again! You are far braver than I!
(Sorry to post on your thread, but nostalgia has taken hold. Fond (and painful) memories)!
