Excellent video selection!!! Brought back some great memories.
The set had to be scaled down in Fairbanks because it was a relatively small venue (for a town of about 45,000 people, but in Alaska that is considered a major city). They put up a big curtain with the Painkiller album cover behind the stage. But it made it that much better because you got to experience the band close-up.
Don Dokken, the opener, did a good set and even segued into his own version of "Balls to the Wall" (Peter Baltes of Accept was in Don's band at that time.) I was impressed. Didn't know Don had it in him. It was a fantastic night and one of the best rock shows I have ever been to.
Thanks for sharing that video.

That's cool!! I've heard/seen a similar performance on YouTube regarding the same song. That must have been an amazing live performance!!!
Especially in Alaska!!!!!! This one's my favorite:

I have a JP story for Vaillant (replying to his intro to "All Guns Blazing"):
I got the privilege of seeing the mighty Priest on the Painkiller tour in Fairbanks, Alaska in the spring of 1991 (Don Dokken opened, fantastic show). This was the last tour Rob did with the band before his little hiatus. But I digress.....
They got to "All Guns Blazing" and Rob opens up with the intro (the one just typed) at ONE FULL OCTAVE HIGHER THAN IT'S RECORDED ON THE ALBUM. The fact that he could pull that off, live no less, absolutely floored me. I have been to 5 Priest live shows (not counting Halford or Fight) and that was probably the best one. I went home happy.
