DO YOU USUALLY GET MUCH SNOW IN THE PART OF CALIFORNIA YOU ARE FROM? THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN MUCH HERE IN THE CITY. A BIG STORM NOW AND THEN BUT TWO DAYS LATER IT'S GONE. I REMEMBER IN THE 1970 'S BIG STORMS EVERY FEW WEEKS.THE SNOW WOULD LAST ALL WINTER.

Yeah, no kidding! I realize we are not known for cold weather but it can get downright COLD here on occasion! Nasty, dead cold. Not alive and brisk as one might find back east.  The desert has a special brand of cold. Very still. Very icy. Very dead. Anyway, I do not believe we have had the pleasure of meeting properly.
