YES! A Best Buy or Newegg.com gift certificate. Trust me. As an IT nerd, there is nothing anyone can get me that doesn't make me question if it was the best bang for the buck. Plus, I can turn a Best Buy gift certificate into months if not years of happiness looking for bargains.

Yup, I agree 100%. I manage a Mac lab and have it set up to dual boot with Windows. First thing I do when setting up a new machine is use a home-brew slipstreamed version of Windows that I have configured to my liking with all the drivers needed. NEVER include XP3 on that custom disk just as I would never think about installing that pig of a resource hog known as Vista (aka. Mojaveeeeeeee! LOL!). Avoid it.

Welcome back Necro!  If you need help with XP, let me know.  It's A LOT more stable and secure than Win 98 was (just don't install SP3 for XP).
