METALMANJP,    and    MR. DAVE GENOCIDE,

I don't know either of  you,  but I know the pain of losing someone.  I'm so very sorry for your loses.
There's really nothing anyone can say  that can ease your pain right now, while it's so fresh. Just know
that there are others out here, like myself, who understand.
I lost my fiance a year ago June 9th. It was unexpected and a huge shock. The grief has been overwhelming at times.
Take this opportunity to cling to those you love who remain, and anything that honors your friends is a good thing that will
help you to still feel connected to them. Be there the best way you can for their families. And if you believe in an after life, or that
the spirit/energy/soul of a person lives on - know that they are always around you. Don't be afraid to talk to them and about them
to others.
I wish you both the strength and the depth of heart that you'll need to get through this time in your lives.
If you'd like to talk to someone who relates, you can PM me and I will respond.
Most sincerly, Caron.

My good friends funeral was today. This is one side of the block, the other two sides looked the same. He loved his Harley and all his friends are honoring him by riding in the procession.

I hear you... Ive been at home for 2 months now... And Im really glad I will be going to college in autumn. If I wasnt, I would have to look for a regular job, and I have better chances of winning the lotto. And in any case, I will need a part time job soon, when I run out of money.

IDK, for all theyre saying about how we reached the bottom and "there are signs of the economy getting better"... I still think that it will get a lot worse... Im definatly feeling for everyone that is unemployed in these times.

Yeah ya got to stick it out cause in todays economy its no joke. My dad(R.I.P.) used to say this was coming back in 1985 I remember him saying"wait and see how the economy is 25 years from now"...

Man was he right. I was only 15 years old at the time and was too high to understand just about anything back then!! lol!!  But yeah....its no joke, thats for sure.

I know what you mean JD, my last job sucked due to the 'office politics' type crap too. But I didn't leave until I had to due to us moving away. I stuck it out till then cos I knew it was slim pickings LOL!

I agree Becks....even though I've posted how much I hate my job....and I do..but I would never leave because I couldn't find another one....

So I wasn't being ungreatful for having my job,but I was whining because of some of the polotics within the company.

But still....I am greatful to still have my job and I'm lucky to have my job, theres no doubt about it.

Very true Vail, you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

It does suck that most people take certain things for granted. There are so many others out there who would kill to even HAVE a job in this economy. Your friend probably won't realize how lucky she has it until she quits that job. Unless she changes her mood, she'll figure out the truth the hard way.

"You don't know what you got 'til it's gone".

Not so much pissed off as just in general not very happy. There's a person on another message board I go to who is currently complaining about her job and wants to quit and go on the benefit blah blah blah, and it's just getting me down that she is being so frivolous about having a full time job, when I am struggling to find anything at all. I wish people at times like this, when the job market is shit and what not, could learn to appreciate what they have. Some people are really struggling out there.

Well....its going to be 100 degrees here in Seattle today and I HAVE to go to work today where the shop is going to be well over 100 degrees in there with who knows how

much humidity....here in Seattle we get lots of humidity from living so close to the waterfront and all,so basically I'm going to suffer for 8 straight hours in there!! YUK!

At least I can come home to air conditioning!! lol!   And its going to be 98 tomarrow then 85 on Friday.....I can handle the 85 but this 100 degree bullshit I hate!!

Thats ok...this shit can't last forever and you will see me in the "something making you supper happy" thread on September 1st cellebrating the summer

coming to a close!!! lol!  Not to mention....3 days later I'll have almost 2 weeks off of work paid vacation!!!

Yeah Freeze and Den1673....all we can do is live each day as positive as we possibly can....there are no guarantees in life and although we each know this,we all still get caught up in everyday stress..

...bills,money,work,ect... its unavoidable. And my condolences go out to MATALMANJP and Mr.Dave Genocide for the both of your losess of friends, that is very tough to deal with.

Positive thought, my friend!! As a Man Thinketh, so shall he be... As I said, the finality of death awaits all of us. There are no exceptions. We make the most of what we have and ignore what we do not.
