Spapad -did ya ever notice that when they say stay off the road unless it's an absolute necessity --that's when there's more people than ever on the road & all I'm trying to do is get to work-I se people doing donuts in the parking lots --absolute insanity--I never felt the need for it --if I'm off the night of a big storm I'm happy to stay home with my hot cocoa

Like you Lana, I been driving in snow forever, and feel just fine with it, but when I went to college in Richmond, I didn't dare go out on the road the day we got four inches of snow. I was not concerned for my own driving ability it was all the people who have not a clue how to drive in snow that kept me off the roads. I saw three fender benders in as many blocks walking to school that day.

I usualy count them in the ditch on the drive in and compare to the normal cars.

I so agree with you HB--the ones who think 4x4 is great & they try to push the limit usaully end up spinning out or end up in the ditch & don't get where they want to go anyway
