Deal with the Devil
Its a short but sweet story about the band's past and how they influenced the Heavy Metal genre throughout the years. |

There are really too many to choose from, but.. Hell Bent for Leather stands out. You have to ask, could any other band really pull that off? Not a chance, thank you Rob, KK,Glenn, Ian and Scott. |

I hope you are ready to appologize for the rant you went on yesterday?! I read it, it was full of self pitty and hatred. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by vukluka from Friday, July 04, 2008 2:58:50 PM) | | vukluka wrote: | | Rage-A Touch of Evil-Devils child |

I'd have to go with "Metal Gods" too, for obvious reasons! Although the song(s) that first pop into my head each time I think of the Priest is "The Hellion/Electric Eye." |

I too love Unleashed in the East. I think JP is better live than in the studio. I always loved Sinner off that album (Unleashed). I also love Sentinel off the Priest Live vid, taped in Dallas. Off the same tape I love Parental Guidance as well. Halford's vocals are spot on, in that vid, esp on Sentinel. I wore the tape out & need to replace it!!! |

Hell Bent for Leather or Breakin' the Law. Both are early efforts and are still part of the LIVE show! But it is hard to pick just one because they are all rockin'! |

Genocide - Unleashed In The East - The guitar work at the beginning, especially where the 2nd guitar comes in is awesome |

Victim of Changes from Unleashed in the East. It shows they are a supreme live band to what they record. God, just the echo around the venue is enough to give you chills.
VOC is one of their earliest efforts and one of their greatest songs.
It is hard to pigeon hole an amazing band but that song was one of KK's favs along with Sinner for years. I have to believe the Man knew what he was talking about. |
