I second that --it made such an impression on me when I was a kid--I remember staying up late one night just to watch it --the scene that disturbs me still to this day is what happened to the baby--gives me shivers just thinking about it !!

Hey, thanks for jogging MINE! I hadn't thought of "The Other" in many a year. That pitchfork scene and the kid drowing in the waterwheel house STILL stuck in my mind...crap...after some 30 years! (damn, I feel old)
To remember a film after so much time and having only seen it once on TV, you know it made quite an impression on me as a kid! I guarantee....no googling involved in that recollection!

Thanks Guido--I forgot all about the twins movie --it had one of my favorite actresses in it --Uta Hagen
I meant the Others--with Nicole Kidman---but both are creepy & not much gore --thanks Guido for jogging my memory!!
