When the original announcement came about this tour, I was OK with it, sad, but OK.
But this is just FUCKED UP!!! KK is not replaceable, kudos to Faulkner, but no KK no Guitardude at show!!!

If it's been confirmed that K.K. is not ill, then it's OK to rant - the press release says "...Richie Faulkner has blended into the band perfectly, blah blah blah..." so exactly how long have they been sitting on this information?

I hope it is something as powerfull as the painkiller album or the hellrider (song) and what whe had back then during the DOTF years and the screaming for vengeance because that's what we need...I kind of liked the nostradamus but I do not consider it a priest album...I don't even mix it with the rest, and definitely I don't want another one...I think it's a majority those who really expect something that blasts us through the ceiling, and if that's the reason why KK left, then it was about time...I'd really love to see priest live with him and it hurts to know he left, but maybe that's just what's best for the band in this moment...
Absolutely....I belive K.K. decided to quit the band in late November,and they probably found Faulkner and worked with him through December and waited this long to break the news slowly for the fans. Regardless of what member Hellrider will say ( by the way you rock Hellrider! ) in my mind I can't see the new album topping 8 studio albums:
Sad Wings Of Destiny
Stained Class
Hell Bent For Leather
British Steel
Screaming For Vengeance
Defenders Of The Faith
Painkiller
Angel Of Retribution
The albums in my personal opinion it could top or draw equal to would be:
Rocka Rolla
Sin After Sin
Point Of Entry
Turbo
Ram It Down
Jugulator
Demolition
Nostradamus
This would rate the new album at # 9 out of 17 studio albums.....but thats just speculation,it may be better but I doubt it. I really think K.K. wanted another LP like Nostradamus,not a copy because no 2 Priest albums are the same ect..but in the ball-park of Nostradamus and I think Rob and Glenn tried to talk him out of it and he probably quit. Thats my guess,he was soooooo into "Nostradamus" and was soooo disappointed that us fans(the majority) didn't like it.

Well, I am disappointed! A founding member not making the FINAL tour of Judas Priest after being there for everything...last I heard they were working on new material, so there should be some new stuff with KK on it. I hope it isn't a health issue, and if it is, hope he takes care of himself.
As far as the tour goes, I will not miss it.
Gotta feel bad for the new Guitarist though...coming on for 1 tour only...MAYBE they won't stop touring after all??

Well this news about K.K. Downing is pretty interesting and it looks like their getting some new young blood in the band. Maybe this guy will give them the spark they need to get back to the basics. Bring on the Painkiller style heavy metal!
