It's been way too long! How are you my friend?
You have to check that DVD out. The guy is insane and so are all of the musicians he recruits. He's like a virtuoso bass player. I have huge suspicions that he (and all the other guys who play with him) are aliens lol. His genre is way too diverse to try to even describe. He was in a band called Primus before he went solo but that was nothing like what he's doing on his own.
Drums are beautiful! I've so fallen in love with this kit. I'm banging away every day and every oppertunity that I get. I even bought a cowbell!!!
Gotta have more cowbell~ lol
PS: I still haven't found Ginger yet but I'm still on the lookout lol. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Hi Joe...been awhile...haven't seen the DVD, but you have piqued my curiosity...how them drums workin' for ya?? | | joedraper wrote: | | Hello!!! How is everyone on this terrific Tuesday?? So far so good except mine is almost over yet again, which is not a bad thing mind... I saw something terrifying last night though: Les Claypool's 9 Gallons Of Diesel DVD.. That boy is not from this planet me thinks.. hmm.. he's like what Frank Zappa would have been like if he'd been strung out on acid or something. Anyone seen this DVD? |

To me, most 'Tribute' bands (no matter which) are even more 'over the top' than the original...by the time it's all said and done they more than likely end up being comic relief more than anything!!! And THAT , my friend, is the very problem. How? What can we do to save these poor creatures? And, as jimmy pointed out yesterday, what of our property values? What do we do? What do we do? I am told that my endorsement will most certainly result in newer and more "flipper-friendly" accomodations for the aforementioned "clubbing seals".
The outpouring of emotion regarding the nightlife of these sea-faring mammals has made me re-evaluate my position with respect to their inalienable right to "club" and the facilities with which they are provided to do so. I had absolutely no idea that there were so many of you that shared this great desire to see that our nation's aquatic life have decent places in which to commune here in the desert, where they apparently thrive.
The Las Vegas "seal clubbing" scene is rather obscure, so I have found. I had no idea they were so desperately in need of places here in the valley. I sincerely hope that, by sigining this petition, we can get past this most serious of problems and move on to other, more pressing needs. The plight of the Las Vegas, sex-starved, opium- dependent aardvark. |
