It's too bad because this is the period that I thought Rob looked the HOTTEST! I'm squinting here trying to see him. Something about that scruffy look

Time to watch Top Chef.... I'm addicted to all these cooking competition shows. I keep thinking if I watch enough of them, maybe I'll learn something! I can make anything if I have a recipe but I wish, I could throw stuff together like these people can do.

See ya later Spa! Have a good night! As my husband is chanting in the background...."I was riiiiight, I was right!" HA!

Yes it is blurry and short and I guess we are just forced to use our imaginations! LOL But still, it was good, and would have loved to be there!

I should not have doubted him! This one is going to cost me!I only knew about the sound check version that was with Bruce and Rob and released on Halford's Live Insurrection CD. This looks like it was actually performed live. How cool would that have been to be in the audience for that! Too bad this video is so blurry and short!

Holy Crap, my hubby was right! Just found this - Geoff Tate, Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford singing "The One You Love To Hate" on YouTube. Anyone know if there is a better video out there of this?

Hi Metalheads

Just popped in for a quick 'hello' and say a couple of things then I have to go.

Michael, good to see you man!!

J.D.  Great to hear you had a great time...well deserved bud

Hi ya Becka!!

Great to see you're alive and kicking Freeze!!

Spa  During my 2nd marriage I was a truck driver and I stopped at a McDonalds somewhere in Michigan.  I took my wedding band off to give my hands a good scrubbing and by the time I realized I wasn't wearing it, I was about 50 miles from home.  Man, was I scared to tell her I lost the damn thing!!!  I found the reciept  that was still in the bag and when I got home I called the number to the store and after describing it I was told someone had indeed found it in the washroom and turned it in...I had it back in less than a week!!!!!!  It's a wonderful feeling when you're the beneficiary of a total strangers integrity...cheers

Thanks Bev for the welcome back. Good to be around!

Now, I hope I don't bore eveyone to death, but I have an interesting story. Almost 2 1/2 years ago, I got a new Honda Accord, and had a, I suppose, bad habit of forgeting to put them (my keys) in my desk drawer when I got to work, and would leave them sitting on my desk. About a month or two after I bought the car, that bad habit caued me to loose this key right off my desk at work! I figured someone had thought they had sat their key down on my desk and picked it up by accident. Anyway, I had to have a friend drive me home so I could get my extra key before I could drive my car home that night. Also this key missing concerned me as it had a panic button so If someone just walked around the area pointing at cars they would eventually get mine to sound off, but time went by, the key was never returned, but nothing ever happened to my car either, so I'd given up ever seeing that key ages ago. Today, I got a package from the main branch of one of our local grocery stores. In the package was a note that stated that my keys had been turned in to the office at their WV store, and that office sent them on to The main office in Roanoke, VA.  Due to the little discount scan bar on my key ring they were able to find my address and send me back my key. So, I now have my key back after over two years and a half!  Nice to know whoever took them thought to take them to the store, or even cared enough to bother. Bless them!

Yeah...St.Helens blew its top(or side I should say) in 1980.....can't post any pictures of it right now...but yes it is spectacular!  Its so quiet out there.....not very many humans at all....

When we stopped off the side of the road to take some pics...the forest is right beside you.....a bear or a wild cat could leap right out from there and there would

be nothing you could do....but they obviously stay away from the road..ect...they are smart and know when cars roll through..ect...

Hey thanks Becks!! Good to hear from you my friend...and yeah it was brilliant! Mt.St.Helens is like a morbid castle in a way....

very majestic and elite....there is nothing growing on it after 1980........the mountains around it have trees..ect..but not St.Helens.

Its very cool to see especially from the view point where we were.....a masive reminder of nature's power.  Mt.Rainer is absolutely

picture perfect....it is a post card picture ...everything around that area is supurb and I envy those who have property there!!

Good afternoon judaspriest.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I am back from vacation and my mind is feeling touches of sanity again!!! lol!

Man did I need that vacation....I was away from the shop for 12 straight days and it feels like a month...I am refreshed!!!

Victoria and I went to Mt.St.Helens last Friday...about a 2 and a half hour drive there and back!!!  I don't have my printer

hooked up so I can't post any pictures but let me tell you.....it was jaw dropping to say the least!!  We went as far as you

can go..as far as they will let you get close to the mountain at Johnston ridge....it is amazing how masive the craters are

after it blew its top in 1980 when i was just 10 years old.I've never been to Mt.St.Helens so I am glad I decided to go!!

The drive through the mountains is just priceless....no telephone wires,no bars on your cell phone...no stores no anything

but the road through the mountains all the way up to Mt.St.Helens.....the scenery is majestic and massive.....we rolled

through the mountains with some tunes in the car and smoking a bowl on the way!! lmao!!!!!!    We also went to Mt.Rainer

as well....I've been there a few times and just the same feeling through the mountains.......just priceless!!!!

Cool to see all of you on this Wednesday....good to see you as well Mr.Deep Freeze!!!!!

Hellrider....I'll PM you my friend....I've got some bands for you to check out!!!

[Becks] Wednesday, September 16, 2009 3:15:32 PM

Do you buy any of the drummer magazines? They have the most coolest notations in the back usually.. Good ones, not like the shite they put on the net and expect us to decode lol.

That is so right Becks! If you're having fun, you're learning. Fun is the most important element! And broaden your horizons. Metal is amazing to play but so is the mellow stuff. I'm going through a Clapton phase right now. Oh and I'm still trying to hunt down Ginger Baker for some lessons..I know he's around here somewhere, now all I have to do is coincide my outings with one of his court apearances and get him to give me some lessons lol.

Although I've heard he's not one of the most social people around.. I think I'll follow some advice from a fellow musician friend, I'll just go up to him and say 'hey Ginger, I can play all your stuff, can you play mine?'

Lol he'll either be so pissed at my audacity or amused by my brashness that either way, it's a win-win situation right?

PS: In my dreams can I play all of Ginger's work rofl!

Known people to pass in a handfull of days from acute pancreatitis. He did well to last as long as he did, and to be honest it was probably through sheer force of will, that he did.

Yeah, apparently pancreatic cancer has a very bleak outlook - but he fought it for a long time, and as hard as he could.

I remember Roadhouse, with Sam Elliot? in it. Saw it on HBO late one night. It was OK. Sorry to hear he died. I did hope some miracle would happen, but when it's your time to go, nothing will prevent it.

That said part is, that once the maintenance crew is gone, I get called on to handle any car problem. My tire's flat! Susan! etc! LOL
Oh, what a boring life I live! LOL
So how was your day, in retrospect of my ultra boring day? HA!!

Hi Blamly...

Yeah Ron, I feel so bad for his wife. On the other hand, he put up a good fight and had a positive outlook right up to the end. I thought he was a great actor, when I was an early teen he was pretty popular. Like in Nort and South, Dirty Dancing, but I must admit I think my favorite movie that he made has to be Too Wong Fu. I just loved how he pulled that role off.

Also Keith Floyd also died (anyone remember him?) Yet another Cancer victim, Ok he technically died of a heart attack but he was also suffering from bowel cancer. Is it just me or is there an abnormal rise in cancers these days?
Makes me wonder if we're totally missing something here.
