That said, I now REALLY want Bev back. This site really suffers without you, my friend. No one can claim to have held the Priest torch higher. Your dedication to us and this site goes uncontested as you are in a category far above most "regular" members. I know how easy it would be for you to simply walk away. However, it would be to our collective detriment.
I miss you already, Auntie B. Don't let any shitdisturber(s) undermine how much you mean to people like me. Un abrazo....

Job search is coming along slowly, I had an interview last week and a veterinary pathology lab, so I am waiting to hear back from that, fingers crossed!
GAH just had a phone call from FedEx, my husband bought an electronic drum kit from the US to replace his crappy Rock Band one (it's cool cos it's a real drum kit too, fun!) - because it's worth over a certain amount he needs a customs shipping code to bring it in to the country (neither of us knew about this). He needs to apply for it, which includes a copy of his passport. Here in lies the big problem - both he and his passport are in Afghanistan what to do what to do LOL.

Fecking hell but it feels like forever since I was last here..
I've been keeping myself busy with cycling, drum lessons, nursing Yuda back to health and the endless job of being mother and wife. Writing has taken a back seat wich is shameful as it's my passion that I promised never to neglect (not to mention that some income would do me just fine right now lol) My studies are sort of behind but Yuda's health and being mama and wife are more important at this stage.
I've been checking in now and then to see how things are but not having enough time to post.
Yuda is doing rediculously well and he's a true miracle. He's acting like a real kitten again, hunting moths and insisting on pooping outside (he just doesn't do litter boxes they're so uncool lol).
I've got a cycling event on saturday.. my first fully offroad mtb challenge but I'm looking forward to the difference in territory (hope I'm fit enough)
And I've been fulling my ears with the almighty Priest infultrated with the odd RX album inbetween lol.
Well other than that.. I just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who's PM'd me during this hectic time and I'm back my babies!!! lol
Sorry for quiet period - am sure u heard me go on about net radio before...meet the latest DJ - am set up and ready to go...maybe some of ya might tune in someday - won't let ya down on tunes

I just wanna say a big thank you to everyone who's PM'd me during this hectic time and I'm back my babies!!! lol

Hiya everyone! Busy morning here, I've mowed the lawns and walked the dog, I'm heading in to town soon to do something special with some of my wedding photos
Joe! I'm so glad to hear Yuda is doing well, what a little fighter! Cats are very resilient, aren't they? Sounds like you've been very busy [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by joedraper from Monday, March 16, 2009 2:47:24 PM)

J.D. my friend, you had pretty much said all of the right things over the weekend. As you, Ron and DF said, hopefully reason will start to kick in with those recently deptarted members and they will return in due time.
I for one, consider myself pretty damn lucky to have communicated with so many fine people. Through thick and thin, this place has been something of a haven for me to turn to and
escape the crap that life throws at me.
Hey guys, wouldn't it be really cool if we have a giant 'meet and greet' thingy? Maybe we can center it around a JP concert? [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Sunday, March 15, 2009 11:08:54 PM)

Allow me to say, for the record, that I know J.D. personally. He is not a trouble maker. He is a valued member of this Board. He can be a bit "edgy", but that is his style. I like to refer to him as our resident pit bull. If there are trouble makers lurking, he is "sitting on the porch" waiting! WOE be to ANY idiot that comes here looking for a fight! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, with such a beast at our disposal, there is always the chance he will growl without realizing it is a friendly hand petting him! That is the price we pay for such a dominant guardian!! It is well worth it!
I am so thankful that all has settled down and we are back to our "loving" selves. Do not forget that there really are those that lurk, waiting to come here, create false identities and try to manifest the events we witnessed last night. They are a reality. We must be prepared. We have our "guard dog" and we have one another. Let's not forget that.

We got snow regularly in winter when I lived in the South Island for the last 3 years. One night I woke up and thought it was pissing down with rain, in the morning I went to let the cat in and he was all mad at me, I soon saw why, over a foot of snow had fallen LOL the weather men didn't see it coming at all haha. That was great, woohoo day off work!

BWWAAAAHAAAAAA!!!!! Snow couch?? T-Bar?
Oh too funny!! Sorry to say that you coudn't find either in Utah or Colorado nowadays. Ahhh, the good ol' days. Rope lift. Grab that sucker and then slide back smashing back into your sister / brother / friend behind you. Ho ho! What fun!!!
Wait, this is best for the old fart's thread. I grew up on skis. Age 5, I believe, in Michigan.
Awesome! I've only been to the snow once, Was a school trip back in 2004. Lasted 5 days (7 in total but the bus took a 2 days to get us there & back) My friends and i built a snow couch, two seater with cup holders, That was one of the highlights. It would certainly be something i'd do more often if i lived in the right climate and had time / funds. I remember when i got back i noticed the muscle tone i gained in just 5 days. Imagine being a professional skier!
Oh and i'll never forget slipping off the T-bar snow lift.... I was so embaressed. I hit an ice patch with my ski's and fell off, then my mate next to me lost her balance... LOL Was almost run over by the next people on the lift... (Imagine trying to roll out of the way with ski's on!)
It's nice to know your home safe

WONDERFUL, my friend! Had the best snowfall of the year. Apparently, they had a pretty weak ski season before we arrived.
Great time, though. Five straight days on the slopes and I have thighs of steel! LOL!!!
Seriously, with Steamboat, Colorado last year and Utah this one, Pop and I couldn't have been luckier. Great weather and returned home injury-free save for a slight knee problem when I was screwing around and tried to spray the old man when he was taking a breather on a 2.5 mile run laying down on a hill. Just ASKING for it! HAAAAA!!!!!

LIked it well enough Like I said, I have not come across a song I actually dislike yet. Some I prefer more than others, certainly, but yeah LOL!

You're right Spa - I reckon you don't have to like every song JP comes up with to be a fan, although I am yet to hear a song of theirs that I would say I dislike, which is rare for me LOL!

Well thank u both for having that opinion...
[Becks] Saturday, March 14, 2009 8:12:33 PM
Very true Shotz, just cos there are some songs you'd rather not hear of a particular band makes you no less of a fan than anyone else
[buck foston] Saturday, March 14, 2009 8:05:51 PM
Necro, of course some tunes from Judas Priest i could care less to hear. i admit it. listen to the ones you like. thats what makes this band so great. it doesnt make you any less of a priest fan if some of them you dont like. big deal. i could listen to Aerosmith all day but at some point there is going to be a few tunes i'll fast forward.
[buck foston] Saturday, March 14, 2009 7:59:16 PM
i agree with you becks. im sure there might be some tune from Faithful Defenders that might strike a wrong chord with me but i havent heard it yet. dont think i ever will either.
