Sounds like a lovely way to spend Saturday Joe! Other than being out of bed this morning way to early after staying up way too late, I don't feel like I suffer for it today because there is not pressure to do anything except go to dinner this evening with my Dad for his Birthday. I love totally lazy days like this once in a while. |

Morning everyone! I had a massive sleep in cos I was up really late reading and I woke early this morning to heavy rain and gale force winds LOL! So that kept me awake for a while.
Kiamat - you'll be fine heading off to uni! I was nervous when I left for uni too - I was the only person from my year at my school to go to the university I went to, so I was really nervous lol!

And yes, there will be customers already at the Barbershop at 7:30 am! Every morning my father actually has customers waiting on him to arrive to get their hair cut!
Now here's just a cute side story to this whole thing. My father's name is hardly known, even though half the town knows him everyone at the barber shop has always called him "Teddy Bear" That's what they know him by and I have often heard people call him Ted for short, BUT his name is Preston! Only good part about it (other than the getting paid part) is that work will start an hour later. So starting tonight and until Sunday, I'll get to wake up an hour later than usual (extra rest, in other words).
What's new in New Zealand?

Nothing new in NZ really LOL! Here's something funny - the most read news story on the most pupular NZ news website two days ago was about a dog who knocked the handbrake off on his owners car, and ended up driving the car in to a cafe. That's an almost typical news day here LOL! So I've been catching up on the latest US politcal news - it's so much more entertaining than our politics LOL!

Only good part about it (other than the getting paid part) is that work will start an hour later. So starting tonight and until Sunday, I'll get to wake up an hour later than usual (extra rest, in other words).
What's new in New Zealand?

So tell me...what happened to OLD Zealand?! Come on, you can tell me. I swear to keep it a secret.... [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Thursday, September 17, 2009 6:39:38 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Ahh that's good then, an extra hours sleep LOL!
Hi Spa!

Hiya, Beckies.
Only good part about it (other than the getting paid part) is that work will start an hour later. So starting tonight and until Sunday, I'll get to wake up an hour later than usual (extra rest, in other words).
What's new in New Zealand?

Good afternoon, ladies and germs. Celebrate, for tomorrow is Friday, which is followed by the oh-so-sacred weekend.
I, on the other hand, will have to work on Saturday and Sunday. Yay... ....but at least I'll get paid. Nothing wrong with that, right? |
