I'm just glad you haven't beaten me down about how I can sometimes abuse grammar and sentence structuring English, and all that goes with it, has never been my strong suit of the three R's, aRithmatic was more my thing, but even those lessons seem so long ago [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Sunday, October 26, 2008 10:04:53 AM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Well, from what I recall that is its origin. Bars here can be pretty wierd....there's the ones for the tourists, then others for locals, then the places bikers are allowed...and they are the best. I used to dress 'normal' but no more....not gonna deny my inner self. Moving back 'home' is gonna feel wierd... Actually Ron, the cockles of my heart is an old expression that you may remember. I believe it is derived from the latin for one's heart chambers which , I believe, resemble the shellfish Necro mentioned. Yes, we have discussed this in the past. As my family owned cafes for many years, I too grew up around food . It is a passion for me as well. I think that is why you and I get on so well. More common interests! |
