Alcohol abuse and drunk drivers are two of the things that piss me off more than anything! Can't comment on pot, never tried it (never interested me personally LOL). But yeah, especially among teenagers here, alcohol abuse/binge drinking is rife. There was a crash in another part of the country recently where 3 young men died (one was only 16). Their families were saying the weren't what we call boy racers (young guys who do up their cars, and spend their evenings driving around being assholes). They also engage is risky behaviour such as drinking and driving. Which is why many eyebrows were raised when a picture was published of the 16 year olds casket being carried out of church, COVERED in beer labels. WTF sort of message is that sending about alcohol!

Yes...alcohol is far more dangerous than smoking pot. I don't care if pot gets legalized but I would like to see them "decriminalize" pot. That is what they should do.
But going back to alcohol....yes it is way more serious and dangerous than pot. Have somebody drink a fifth of alcohol and have someone else smoke an eighth of weed
and see wich one drives better! lol! I'd take the guy that just smoked an eighth than the drunk stumbling idiot that just drank the fifth!!

the summer of 1995.....14 years ago!! So all I do now is simply smoke my weed and I am happy! LOL! No alcohol though!!!

Mushrooms... LOL! Believe it or not, but mushrooms used to be legal in Holland. You could buy them in special drugstores. It became illegal about a year ago after a few individuals jumped off a bridge after they had used mushrooms.

I'm what you call an active pothead. I still clean my house, cook everynight and walk my dogs all while enjoying some good green.

Thanks Hellrider!!! Yeah man...the last drink...well..... the last several of drinks I had was "the day my mother died"(August 30,2007....R.I.P.)
Ever since.....I have not had a sip and I don't plan on ever having one again. Its just not my thing and not for me.
But I am sometimes around people that get to wasted and they end up fucking my whole night up and I'm sick of it.
Yeah Hellrider....I'm with you man...if I want to get ripped out of my mind I will crank up Judas Priest!!!!!!

Well......I do like to have some drinks. But, as far as I am told by my friends, I don't bother people when I'm drunk.

Couldn't agree more...
I almost walked out of the bar job cause I was so sick of stupid wasted people. And stupid men hitting on me, that would start at about 8pm... 2am and the same dude is sitting at the bar still trying to take me home...
I'm the cut off queen at the bar.. if they look too drunk or keep bothering me. I would just cut them off.
I'm very glad that I don't work there! Its been just 2 weeks and my house is clean again and I get laundry done, plus I get to spend time with my dogs..
One full time job is enough!
Hey I will drink beer or wine.. just not in large quanties...

I watched the movie as well (my friend is also a Twilight fan). It was okay, but its target audience is obviously lovelorn teens and the fans of the book itself. I think the glittering vampire thing is too much, though.

That movie is terrible. I only watched about 20 minutes of it because I was at a friend's house and I was about to throw up it was so bad! Totally overrated.
