A GREAT Friday to all of you. Since there seems to be very little activity this morning, I guess I will get on with my day. Have a great one, people!

Good Lord, J. I am so very sorry. Guido and Soy are so right, we all go through it yet that is of so little solace when your heart is in pieces. I know that feeling of desperation and isolation all too well. The Love Thread has some great insights about it and I encourage you to read some of them..as soon as you are strong enough.
I have shed many a tear in the name of love. This pain is probably the worst of all we know. Trying to help you with mere words seems so very useless.

We had a talk last week, just an opening up talk, and then last night we had another talk-like we were better off as "friends".
Which we are, we know the same people which is a blessing and a curse...but we have so much in common, we finsih each others sentences, and it was like my heart snapped in half. It was very civil, not at all amicable but after all we went through it ends as "just friends". And that feels worse sometimes than just dissapearing forever...its hard to be friends without crossing that line again, y'know?
SO I cried until 1:30...went out to the diner with my unemployed friend....went home, cried some more, fell asleep for a few hours then woke up and cried again...
I'm calling out of work "sick" today...theres no way after the week i have had that I can go in there sane today...I need a day to myself...
I just got paid, and I'm prolly going to blow it all on something dumb like a tattoo but whatever... [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, October 16, 2008 11:53:48 PM)

Awwww...sorry to hear that, JerZ. He "let you know?" How very civil of him.
Always a sad thing when relationships go south. I am sure most (if not all) of us here know. They always say: "better now than 20 years into it, married and with children." Logically, "they" are right. Emotionally, it hurts just the same. At least you can always count on your metal family for support. Much metal love, my friend.

Well then today is a good day for you, my friend! No one should have to live like that, especially one that so enjoys cooking! It still amazes me that I find I really have no reason to complain about my situation. As cliche as it sounds, I find so many others that have it far more difficult than I. Like I mentioned yesterday, I see people that are suffering everytime I go to my doctor's office. It really humbles me.
I am so happy for you, Steve. You deserve good things. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Necroticist from Wednesday, October 15, 2008 7:50:07 AM)

Good Lord, Necro!! That's awful! I am so sorry to hear that. I can understand how you feel about living in small quarters. Yes - temporary, 'cos last landlord wanted us gone, u have to take what u get over here...and this was better than sleeping in the park. The visit was a local 'official' - think we finally got the message over that we can't live like this. Also shew them video footage of the fact that last landlord smashed almost all our stuff (he broke into the place when we were away - lost 1000's) - so i think we got a good chance...

No - had a visit from the coincil this morning - they might offer a place today. Been in emergency for 16 months...a no-bedroom flat and i've had to endure sleeping in a chair...not a good thing for my back problems
