Yes - temporary, 'cos last landlord wanted us gone, u have to take what u get over here...and this was better than sleeping in the park. The visit was a local 'official' - think we finally got the message over that we can't live like this. Also shew them video footage of the fact that last landlord smashed almost all our stuff (he broke into the place when we were away - lost 1000's) - so i think we got a good chance...

I appreciate your "regional dialect", man...but I am not too sure I follow what you said. If I understand you correctly, you received a visit from some kind of official and you have been living in some kind of temporary housing????

HAPPY TUESDAY EVERYBODY ! Sorry for the long absence, but it seems that I've inherited a soccer team. Yes, much like my baseball team, someone was required to step up and I just don't know how to say no. I wish I could meet a lady like that. HA ! As is my custom, we are in first place and are fighting back and forth with another team to stay there  ! Fires have put a halt to all the soccer activity for now though. Very smoky and the San Fernando Valley is practically surrounded by fire. Me and mine are fine as we are not nearly affluent enough to reside on the hillsides or in the canyons.
Freeze, good to see you around. What the hell is going on with our baseball teams my friend. I thought we would finally get the World Series we were hoping for. I've still got my fingers crossed ( remembering comeback against the Yankees ), but it's not looking good. |

I need to quit smoking.. ( Iam afraid I will a bigger bitch than i allready am) LOL..
But Iam hoping by Christmas I cam quit.. Iam not smoking in the new house.. So when it becomes freezing outside. Iam hoping it will detour me from going out to have a smoke.. Iam allready buying the nicorette gum when its on sale and trying to prep myself..

Well Necro, the important thing is admitting you need to quit. I realze that sounds like a terrible cliche but there is foundation in that premise. You see, I drank heavily and was told, by TWO wives, to quit. I would not. You have to quit for yourself. You have to decide it is what YOU want. Quitting for others will not work. I got very, very sick at the time I decided to quit. I mean, I was terribly ill and hallucinating and all that. I made the decision to stop drinking and held to it. Plain and simple. It changed my life, really. Amazing things happened to me after that time. Whether it has to do with alcohol or not, I cannot say.
