Well Necro, the important thing is admitting you need to quit. I realze that sounds like a terrible cliche but there is foundation in that premise. You see, I drank heavily and was told, by TWO wives, to quit. I would not. You have to quit for yourself. You have to decide it is what YOU want. Quitting for others will not work. I got very, very sick at the time I decided to quit. I mean, I was terribly ill and hallucinating and all that. I made the decision to stop drinking and held to it. Plain and simple. It changed my life, really. Amazing things happened to me after that time. Whether it has to do with alcohol or not, I cannot say. Freshman year, I believe. Just threw them out and did not go back. As for alcohol, I was a VERY heavy drinker for almost thirty years. I dabbled a bit in hard drinks but I drank at least 12 beers EVERYDAY. I am NOT making this up! MANY days , I drank even more than that! Next month will mark my FOUR YEAR anniversary of sobriety.
