 AMAZING CONCERT LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!
I didn't expect they include BLOOD RED SKIES and STARBREAKER in the setlist!

THANKS TO THE MIGHTY PRIEST FOR ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS IN MY LIFE!!!!!!

When Mr. Halford screamed VIVA MEXICO!, it was one of the most emotive moments last night!
[Budred] Saturday, October 01, 2011 4:15:38 AM
I hate Jimmy Fallon but I'm glad to see Priest get a little national exposure. Maybe they'll
actually announce that they're in the middle of a world tour and show some dates. Had it
not been for this site I may not have known.
[HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS] Friday, September 30, 2011 4:45:34 PM
We are in row 2 center section (Christmas present from my hubby). I'll be sure to look for you!!!

A-fuckin' men! It's Business 101. Apparently management skipped that class in school.....

I give up trying to figure this out because I'm a logical person and this doesn't make any sense no matter how you look at it. You would think the band would want to play to the biggest audiences possible and to do that you have to advertise the shows. DUH!

Am I going to see you in Cleveland???? I hope so!

Priest is off their game these days...Rob was doing the beginning falsetto in the beginning of the tour on Blood Red Skies..Now he is basically talking through the words too. Proly a good thing this will be their last world tour b/c not much left in the tank. Also, they gave us nothing on the setlist which would indicate "a dusted classic". (Starbreaker has been awful) Nothing. I will be there saying good bye one last time. Time to fade into the sunset for JP. Sad to see them like this at the end of their career and dropping down so many notches on the live show. Disappointed in the way this tour is turning out and the US tix sales have been poor too. Not meaning to slag them and I know they are up their in their age, but..its close to emarassing to watch for this die hard fan.

I find it odd you saying that because LiveNation Entertainment (owns TicketMaster and LiveNation ) and UMG (Universal Music Group) announced they were working together. UMG owns Trinifold, that owns Priest.

You know they seem to only advertise directly to the local areas where they are touring which is my guess at what they are doing. Definetely a risky/stupid move in any case.

Nope, neither has listings for their shows it looks like. I had to go to the Ava Amphitheatre site (Technically Casino Del Sol's which is where the venue is at). Yeah it sucks I had to pay some surcharges myself though not as bad as Tickemaster or Live Nation though.

Is Ticketmaster or Live Nation even selling them? My tickets are from Quicken Loans Arena.
It has the Q logo and a printed stamp but nothing about Ticketbastard or Live Nation on it. Still
had to pay freakin'  ticket surcharges though.

I think they fucked up by touring before this new album is out,not that it would change ticket sales or advertisment any,but it would of made it alot more interesting thats for sure.

This Epitaph Tour has to be the worst advertised tour in the history of advertising. To this day Ticketmaster does not list it nor does liveNation. Why would Priest not want to go out with a bang ? Someone said it before you have to spend money to make money, I just don't get it.

I bet you didn't think it would take all day for someone to "wake up" here. lol
Glad your doing good and I must say I'm looking forward to fall as well. Your girl is going to be 21 soon. It doesn't take too long does it? Flora will be armed with a learners permit  in less than a year now.

I am thrilled to see you as well.

I need you to take out the garbage, clean the apartment, get me some coffee... and we will just start with those three for now. Stinky dog? Maybe you should take care of the neighbours dog that woke me up at six.

Good morning!

You know, you people on the western hemisphere should really start going to bed earlier, instead of sleeping while decent people are already awake.

Vail, leaves are falling here, and its cold and foggy as well. Do you have a spare bed?

OIL CHANGE?! HOLY SHIT!!

There, I tried to spice up the place a bit but I don't think I succeeded. When the convo turns to falling leaves and oil changes, I think it is about time to call it. LOL. Perhaps I'll sit back and think about how much I am not missing the fact that KK is not in Priest anymore. Either that or take out the garbage. Ah, decisions, decisions.

Not a thing happening and shoe-muncher does not smell like either. Febreze took out smell #1 and then just faded away into the furry devil.

No bad weather, just a beautiful fall day turned night. Leaves falling all around is abou the most exciting thing I have to report from Nowhere.

Every stereotype and image from Brazil that you could imagine was in there. That is why I still say to watch it.

Don't watch Lion King first, though. That was at least a decent film. Wasn't as predictible and had music that made some sense.

Did they at least show the giant Christ the Redeemer statue somewhere? Or Pão de Açúcar? Or did they show Chichen Itzá instead?

Ah, who knows. Maybe we will watch it at some point...maybe after watching the Lion King or something.

Barely.

Just finally watched the movie "Rio." What a horrible film. Like a trainwreck, though, I just had to watch. I don't ask for much. Just that they stop speaking Spanish in Brazil? That too much to ask?
Maracas. Oh yeah, fairly common as well. No wonder this movie tanked.

I think I'm ready to say goodbye to facebook, except an occasional peep in. Not that I care what they do to the format but i hate to file through all the people I'm not close to just to find a post from someone I actually would want to hear from.  Now, I'll just have to type in names of people to see things. But who cares, I can't keep up with all that shit.

LADY STARLIGHT will be appearing at the majority of our US shows (except the ones listed below) - she will be performing in between each artist - playing some great classic metal!!

She won't be appearing at the following shows:

18/10-Tuscon AZ
... 21/10-Phoenix AZ
27/10-Concord CA
23/11-Quebec City CQ
24/11-Montreal CQ
03/12-Biloxi MS

from the JP Facebook page.

well, instead of some music I am not listening to at intermission, now I get a DJ I wont be listening to between acts...

You got it, Mr. Freeze.
Of course, you DO know that I am only using an abbreviated version of "Detroit" with the initials "DTE" (not a reference to that silly new name to the ampitheater that isn't actually IN Detroit). Priest isn't actually playing at Pine Knob this time around -they are playing at Joe Louis Arena. We passed it on the People Mover.

It IS close to Greek Town, though, so "OPA" right back to you!! (Orange Faygo, though? Damn, you are NOT from the area....)
