Sucks about the aussie invasion. The possums we have here tend to be the animal most likely to end up as roadkill. That and for carrying rabies. They've got some nasty looking teeth, too.

That is my Rat Terrier, Mattie. Rescue dog. She was trained by a prisoner in one of those programs here so I had to pay extra as she knows basic commands. Yes, "shake, sit and roll over" still give her problems but she does do as Vail said and "plays dead" quite nicely!

Jake is bigger and more muscular than Calvin (QePD), Elwood is just a puppy who now gets into good domination fights with the older (and smallest) Mattie. Sometimes the two more active terriers will gang up on Jake. Mattie hits low, nipping for the legs while Elwood has a great vertical leap so he hits Jake high on the back and/or collar. However, it only lasts until Jake gives 'em a hip-check saying "enough." He outweighs both by 20lbs easily so that usually shakes the two smaller dogs off to fight amongst themselves.

'brigado. Hard to tell size from those shots but even harder to get three dogs to pose!
Jake is bigger and more muscular than Calvin (QePD), Elwood is just a puppy who now gets into good domination fights with the older (and smallest) Mattie. Sometimes the two more active terriers will gang up on Jake. Mattie hits low, nipping for the legs while Elwood has a great vertical leap so he hits Jake high on the back and/or collar. However, it only lasts until Jake gives 'em a hip-check saying "enough." He outweighs both by 20lbs easily so that usually shakes the two smaller dogs off to fight amongst themselves.
