Don't you hate when you Rack yourself in your own home! Like walking into edges of doors or just forgeting the cabinet door is open! But, I know someone knows this, and I'm going to be a stuborn pig till someone answers it! Hardly anyone on tonight anyway, so I'm gonna let it stand.
You wont believe how bad my right arm hurts today due to a new wireless mouse I have at work that is just WAY too big for my hand and is causing me pain! LOL Who would have thought that!?

Sorry Michael, I don't know what happened to this reply, I did answer it. The cable was the whip sound. Chances are I was just thinking too fast while I was typing. I do that sometimes, sorry.

Actually the pool cue was the sword sound. There are two implements used for the marching one is cutlery and the other leaves a much more resounding sound to punctuate the effect. What is it?

[devils_child] Wednesday, March 04, 2009 7:48:58 PM
They bounced the cutlery trays up and down to get the sound....
[devils_child] Wednesday, March 04, 2009 7:48:10 PM

[Phantom A6] Wednesday, March 04, 2009 7:47:21 PM

OK, come on! "they" were not in the studio, the only one in the studio was Ian and Tom. So "they" did not record in the studio!

I'll give you bonus points if you can tell me the two things they used to make the marching metal gods sounds on "Metal Gods"

They have used the studio too. Tom Allom was in.
[spapad] Wednesday, March 04, 2009 7:32:43 PM
You are correct Momo! They used most of the house. Dave was in the main entryway on the stairs, KK was in the library, Glenn was in the bathroom, They used the kitchen for sound effects and several other things at their disposal.

Fight for your life.

(I believe it was the orginal basis that Rock Hard Ride Free was taken from.  It was not really a seperate song.  I remember reading that someone made a suggestion to change the lyrics.)

Here's a super easy question for tonight:

What bonus song sounds alot like another song that's in the Defenders of the Faith album?

[spapad] Monday, March 02, 2009 8:53:11 PM
 me too Ron.
[ron h] Monday, March 02, 2009 8:51:13 PM
A lot of ppl want to give him credit for having a 4 octave voice...I think there's a series on YouTube calling him a '4 octave wonder'...but 3.25 is nothing to sneeze at...a lot of singers don't even get past 1-1.5 range...his voice is truly unique and he does a remarkable job with it...

...I'm off to bed...good night folks...
