Ignored again. I wonder what I did this time?

Let's start a poll:

Should I stay or should I go? You decide!

I tried to leave a couple of times but I really like being here. I'm not here to anger people,
I'm just trying to get along with fellow Priest fans.
Instead of saying "I'm out" only to return again, I'll let the majority decide. Just say "stay" or
"go". I'll check back in a few days. If the majority is overwhelming I'll abide by the results.
I'm not looking for sympathy or support, just honesty.

I always tell you guys about how lucky I am to live where I do when it comes to music.
Here's a good example...
I've only been to 3 concerts this summer yet I've seen 43 bands.
   Nearly everyone comes here.
[Budred] Friday, August 20, 2010 5:29:37 PM

Guitardude...I saw my first(and only) "wall of death" at Mayhem last year during Killswitch Engage.
That was the craziest shit that I've ever seen. My man was like..."I wanna see that hill split in half, I
wanna see the grass in the middle." After he got the lawn to split he was like..."when we start this up
I want everyone on this side, and everyone on that side, to turn this into some Braveheart shit."
So they start jammin' and both sides charge each other and meet in the middle. It was Braveheart shit.
It was freakin' brutal. I'd recommend anyone in their right mind, just stay away from that shit.

I'm off to Sturgis tonight! (9 1/2 hour drive from here!) Cannot wait to see Motley Crue (Thank God I'm not seeing Axl Rose n' GNR tomorrow night though, BLAH!) TIme to kick some ass and never take the names!

[Budred] Sunday, August 08, 2010 7:20:07 AM

I'm keeping my posts at an absolute minimum so as not to offend or draw criticism.
...I went to Mayhem Festival last night. I didn't care for some of the bands but overall
it wasn't that bad. I didn't care for Atreyu, Norma Jean, 3 Inches of Blood, or Chamaira.
Shadows Fall and Hatebreed destroyed the second stages. Rob Zombie and
Five Finger Death Punch kicked ass on the main stage but the surprises for me were
Lamb of God and Korn. Lamb... has to be the heaviest live band out there right now.
The last time I saw Korn(04') they sucked so I wasn't even going to watch them. They
blew me away. One of their best performances of the 8 times that I've seen them.

...now my updated list(bands seen live)

301. Atreyu
302. Norma Jean
303. 3 Inches of Blood
304. In This Moment
305. Chamaira
306. Shadows Fall

                ...143. Korn(8)
                   213. Rob Zombie(5)
                   250. Hatebreed(4)
                   266. Lamb of God(2)
                   293. Five Finger Death Punch(2)

I finally took the time to check out the purpose of this thread, and I only have to say that everyone has his own way to start here...of course not all of them do the way the rest expect...but who cares about the rest anyway??? I feel that since we all are from different countries it is clear that our customs are different, our way to get through will always be strange for some people, and even our language (as long as it's not offensive)...many people may feel as if they're being ignored because they don't get an immediate answer, but I assume all of you may have your own business to worry about so you're not in front of the computer 24/7 so you can't expect an immediate reply...I've also seen many people who don't make it to the second day because of something as stupid as our user name (those who've been here long enough may remember the racist: he did not even write a word when everybody but guido was over him, and that's not always fair)...I even myself was insulted when I started because I posted somewhere that I like megadeth (c'mon, that's ridiculous)...if you dislike it just say it in plain english...or spanish or whatever, but some expressions are out of place and are disrespectful...and of course they give a wrong impression if that person is addressing you in an aggressive tone...but how can you pretend people to like you from the beggining if you come up with insults as well??? I don't take things personal but many people do, and that's why we always see those stupid fights in every single thread...so for those of you who like to jump aggressively over those new users every time they say something you don't like I say WE'RE GROWN UPS (well...most of you are)...CAN'T YOU BE MATURE ENOUGH TO SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO SAY IN A RESPECTFUL WAY??? don't be rude to newcomers...that's it...luv ya all...

PD...I'm not referring to a specific person...I'm not even saying names...everyone may be aware of their own actions

If I missed something just ask or post again and I'll respond.  I'll be off of here until tonight so give me some time.

Just show up a couple of hours early, try to figure out where they may enter the building, and wait.
If it's a smaller venue you'll see him. I've done it between 20 and 30 times and it only failed a couple of times.
If it's an arena you can probably forget it. Much tougher, more security.
You'll meet him. Peace!

He's playing in a band called Hail! which is playing at a guitar/music festival in my home province. Slash is headlining and Hail! are playing just before him. Hopefully enough nosing about and I can find him LOL!

I'm not sure where you're going to see him at but unless it's a meet -n- greet just show up before or after.
If he's in a bus just wait by it. If he shows by car wait by the entrance or exit. It worked for me many times.
He's probably the most acessible of the bunch. Very laid back. Good luck!

You could almost say that! hahaha My dad and I (Thanks to him introduced me to the priest when I was 5! I'm 19 now..) saw them once in '04, and I luckily got to meet Rob Halford after the concert. And then, on the '05 Retribution tour, it was 15x acrosss the U.S. on first and second legs of the tour, once in '08 and then once more in '09 to see the British Steel 30th Ann. tour.  It was jaw-dropping amazing and I've loved every concert.

This is my first one. It seems like you can do some cool ones with a little imagination.

Thanks, that made me smile. Keep checking back, I still have more to post.
I'm trying to spread it out to give people a chance to see some of this stuff. The
key word in your post is (lucky). That's all it is. You're lucky too. Where the hell
do you live that you've seen Priest 18 times since 04'?
Did you tour with them?(LOL)

Ok... So I was bored this morning, (as my finacee's alarm kept me awake long after she has gone to work!), and I was looking through this topic at all the posts, and it's come to my conclusion that Budred, you're a lucky s.o.b! hahaha I wish I could have lived back in those days and done what you have! (A lot of today's bands arent worthy!) I'm just thankful I've been able to see Judas Priest 18x since the '04 Reunion.

Does anyone remember the first vinyl LP they ever bought?
 How about CD?

I'll give two answers for LP.
The very first album I ever bought was "Destroyer" by Kiss.
When I started to keep a record collection and take care of them
the first album I bought was "Van Halen" by Van Halen

The very first CD that I bought, proud to say, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest

Can anyone here please explain what I have to do to be able to post at Halford Quorum.
I signed up at least 2 months ago, maybe longer, and I still can't do anything. It's getting
to be a little frustrating. Is there something I need to do that I'm not doing. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks(in advance).

I'm believing most of what I found and I understand the debut's (sales and rank's) thing,
it's the Painkiller not being platinum thing that shocks me. I thought it did better.

bud, without actualy looking it up I would believe that.

Keep in mind album sales drop every year, so while nost may be the highest ranked debut, it will have lower debut sales totals than certainly anything since BS, probably earlier.  As I recall turbo was the first to go platinum, folowed by SFV.  the rest probably needed the remaster issue to put them over the top.

[Budred] Thursday, July 15, 2010 5:08:00 AM
At first I was thinking you guys no longer want to respond to my questions but now
I'm thinking the answer just isn't there. I've been searching for sales totals for Nostradamus
for nearly an hour. The only thing I found was first week sales. 42,000 copies to debut at no. 11
on Billboard. Supposedly, their highest debut ever. It's a little misleading though because they
say Angel of Retribution debuted at no. 13 yet it sold 58,000 copies in first week sales. I found a
list of platinum sales for Priest and Painkiller was not on it. Huhh??? I thought that was one of
their bigger sellers. I'm starting to not trust information from the web. (starting???).
This is what I found...
    Platinum-
                Screaming ...
                 Priest Live
                  Turbo
                    Defenders...
                     British Steel
                      Unleashed...
   Gold-
                Staind Class
                  Hell Bent...
                    Point of...
                      Ram it ...
                         Painkiller
I have trouble believing this to be accurate.

Anyone???

...morning all.
Just starting the day day with a little java and British Steel blasting on the surround sound.
I asked a question yesterday in Nostradamus thread that I was hoping someone could answer.
I'm not ripping the album anymore, I know people here like it and that's cool. What I'm curious
about is how it sold compared to other Priest LP's? I've never heard how good/bad it did.
                 Anyone?
