A fine evening to all. Up a bit late tonight as the Princess is hell bent to watch the first episode of American Idol. *ugh* It is not all that bad a show, although I really think they need to make some changes to the format or something. I mean, it is incredibly stale. The first few weeks are simply brutal as we are treated to one talentless freak after another. It was funny and amusing the first or even second time but now it is oh so predictable and terribly painful to endure!
I enjoy the middle when they actually get some true talent on the thing. Nothing better than listening to real vocalists display their prowess. (Wonder how Rob would have done..?) HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .."Umm, it was awwight fer me but it was a bit pitchy.." HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! Yeah, OK. Anyway, looks to be rather quiet here and I suppose that isn't so bad given some of the nonsense we have experienced the last couple days. Hope you are all having a great evening. |

Wow...I can't say I possess shirts quite as well-aged as that...the oldest Priest shirt I possess is from the Turbo tour...it has the 5 members on the front, and the logo in yellow on the back with TURBO and FUEL FOR LIFE above and below it respectively. It was bought on June 8th 1986....to think that shirt will be 23 years old this year...and no...it doesn't quite fit me the way it did back when either... The wife wants to frame it....when you hold it up to the light, you can see through it...that's how worn the fabric is... |

IT'S USUALLY A LONGER MORE INTENSE DAY AT WORK BECAUSE THEY WANT TO GET THE AUDITORS IN AND OUT AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE. BUT A MUCH SHORTER COMMUTE TO THE HOTEL THAN MY TRAIN RIDE AT HOME. ALSO IT'S NICE TO NOT BE RUSHING AROUND AFTER WORK. I USUALLY HIT THE GYM REAL QUICK THEN GO OUT FOR DINNER AT A BAR WHERE THEY HAVE MANY HOCKEY GAMES ON TV AND GET BACK TO THE HOTEL. I USUALLY GET BETTER SLEEP BECAUSE I CAN GET UP LATER. THE OFFICE IS 3 MINUTES FROM THE HOTEL.
AND IT IS NICE TO GET AWAY FROM THE NORMAL ROUTINE FOR A WHILE. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Monday, January 12, 2009 8:36:28 AM) | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | My my! Sorry I missed this! I am watching (real) football and not really paying much attention to the computer. HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose I would lke to see the Steelers win. They are my son-in-law's favorite. Personally, not much difference to me either way!
As for the new car, it is dark grey. Charcoal interior, tinted windows, etc. It is a "Special Edition", if that means anything to you guys. Looks like a car to me...HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAY, the dealership had a young man bring it over for me to see it. He left about an hour ago. Looks very nice. I like it. And with 'bulk' shopping stores like Sam's Club or Price Club, the larger storage areas in the rear of some of those SUVs can hold a considerable amount of stuff without compromising how/where others are going to sit.
They are for the most part, however...not quite as fuel efficient...and when being controlled by lesser drivers, they're twice the hazard... |

This was filmed in Irvine Meadows, CA 1991... excelent material, one of the best quality vids I have seen from Painkiller era, live concerts (in Tube you have the option to see it in a higher quality)....
I want this concert in its entirety soooo bad!!.... it's really hard to get good material from the Painkiller era, for example I have Painkiller in Detroit but it's in a poor quality) ... so if anyone have any idea of how to get this concert or any other with hi quality, please tell .. anyway enjoy the vid!

About a buck and a half, I believe. I don't recall what I paid the last time I put gas in the car. As terribly embarrassing as this will sound, I do not always look at the price. I am really bad about that. The Princess gets on me all the time because I go to the grocery store and just buy things. I never look at price. Drives her nuts.

Well, IDK then... But I do know one thing. It has been scientificaly proven that the size of the car is in opposite relation to the size of the drivers penis. The bigger the car, the smaller the penis. And since N. Americans all have big cars... Well, the conclusion is that we have bigger dicks than you do. Case closed. come to calgary, our drivers are worse, and we have lots of snow. You never left the hearts of the Metal Family!
LOL I'm 44 years old and still sit at the "kids table" during big family gatherings. Still alot of older folk than me about and besides, I'm pretty sure the kids are giving me better conversation about music and concerts and college life. At least I don't have to hear the recounts of the lastest bout of stomach flu or something even more mundane. Hi ya MG!!! (Cripes...we need us a smiley that waves....)
Well...in another 40 minutes or so, I'm gonna be embarking on yet another training excursion involving an addition made to one of our existing routes....it goes into a whole other county. I went through it already, but it was the direction taken during the AM routes....the PM routes go the OPPOSITE direction, and I didn't want to do it wrong (as I'm doing the PM route)....it's not painfully difficult, but I will be driving it when it's dark, and the routes take on a whole different perspective at night. I hope they go the OTHER way today....else, I'm gonna have to take extra notes than I did the first time. Gonna have to squire me a left-right diagram too...just to be sure. I'm only doing it 3 days this week and 3 days the next before our new bids take effect....might have to avoid picking anything with the route 20 on it (the route that's had this new county addition)....these roads that cut through Burdett and Watkins Glen are murder in winter! |

Btw. Vegas was on our news the other day. Supposedly, you guys havent had snow in decades, or what?

According to her insurance company, she called it in the next day but I did not see any notes on the car over the weekend. In any event, I am grateful. The shop called me yesterday afternoon and said the repairs will take about two weeks and run almost $5,000 !!! YIKES! I see... That is a lot of damage... Tho 5000$ still seems too much. But since the insurance company covers it... Its ok. It would be nice if people would chill out when they are driving, tho. Specialy in this weather.
Btw. Vegas was on our news the other day. Supposedly, you guys havent had snow in decades, or what? She hit it so hard my car was turned nearly sideways!!!

Umm... On second thought, keep it. On the house. The way you are you would probably want to go with a luxury ship instead of a plane...
Seriously tho, its nice to hear that that particular incident turned out allright. 5000$.... What on earth did she do to your car?

Thank you all. It was a bit of a surprise to say the least. I mean, it happened on New Year's Eve! According to her insurance company, she called it in the next day but I did not see any notes on the car over the weekend. In any event, I am grateful. The shop called me yesterday afternoon and said the repairs will take about two weeks and run almost $5,000 !!! YIKES! The Princess is already in "love" with the rental we have ( A little SUV) so I am getting heat about buying her one! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Um...strat...the check's in the mail...HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!! |

ANYWAAAAAAAAAY, she left me a nice note with the claim number and her insurance information. Looks like I will NOT be out the $500 deductible afterall!!! WOO HOO!!!!

That is amazing that someone would actually take responsibility
for something they did wrong in todays society!! Too many times
I see things like that, just yesterday my neighbor down the way, who is
middle eastern, had about 2 dozen eggs thrown on his car. They keep to
themselves why would anyone be so childish!!! That's probably who it
was, kids!! Good luck with the car!!
