lol! Yah I can think of a few people like this,but what the real funny thing is that when "Darkthrone" was out in 1990 and in 91' nobody even had a clue as to who they were or what they were doing.I remember buying Under A Funeral Moon in 1993 from a Metal Edge magazine from the back cover you could order from...and nobody even knew who Darkthrone was,it wasn't untill about 1998-1999 till these wanna-be-black metalers came out of the woodwork when they got "computers".
I'd lay money on that 99% of people who laugh at the early Darkthrone and the early black metal scene didn't have a clue what norwegian styled black metal was back in 1990 - 1995,back then you could of asked them and they wouldn't have a clue. People can still laugh at the old black metal scene but they were doing something back then that was anything but "trendy",they knew something the rest of the idiots did not,I remember those days very well. Only cool metal veterans used to have obscure metal(obscure for 1993,not nowadays)albums back in the day,and then when the internet got hip you had all these black metal kids around 1997 or so -and up till now .

I always thought this was funny. Think of someone you knew back in the day who thought black metal was so awesome and they tried to dress like them and spent all their money on Dark Throne t-shirts, then watch this video. I can think of at least 4 people that this video reminds me of.
