GLAD THEY'RE BACK, GOING TO SEE THEM, BUT WE'RE GETTING HOSED AGAIN! TIX STARTING AT ABOUT $120-$250  ...YUP, I'VE BEEN A LOYAL FAN, FOR ALL THESE YEARS, I'VE SPENT THE WADS OF CASH ON SHOWS AND MERCH., I'M ENTITLED TO SAY IT.... GUYS,GUYS,GUYS....JUST BEING GREEDY TOWARDS THE END, YOU'VE ALL MADE YOUR MILLIONS, HOW ABOUT A "FAN APPRECIATION TOUR" TO REALLY SHOW YOU APPRECIATE ALL THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN OVER THE DECADES...MONEY ISN'T THE ISSUE WITH ME, NO PROBLEM AFFORDING IT (THANKFULLY) BUT A LOT OF FANS JUST CAN'T SWING THIS AND QUITE FRANKLY IT'S NOT FAIR, OVER ALL THE YEARS THEY'VE GIVEN,GIVEN,GIVEN... In my opinion, the business side of things is none of my concern. I can only buy their records, hope to attend their shows and buy some of their merch.
In this time of 2011 AD, if they don't put out the heavy metal that made them a household name and decide to go more pop, that is when they will lose out the most because the metal kids have evolved.
There are Metal Fests everywhere in the world, drawing from a few hundreds to dozens of thousands of people just to hear this particular style of music. They don't want to hear popish metal like in the 80's.
The pop music audience isn't interested in Judas Priest.
They're interested in Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and all that crap. Even Susan Boyle has to fight the Disney kid music.
