Like I said, I share alot of your sentiments.
Without bashing Richie (because he may be quite good)
they could have "Jazzed" up his name a little.
How about "Rocket Richie Faulkner" or something of that nature.(LOL)

Thats the thing,we "keep getting let down". I do feel for Rob,Glenn and Ian because they are still a part of Judas Priest, but all this news is tough to swallow to say the least.  A new album without K.K.? With a guy named Richie Faulkner?

One word to sum it up....."WOW".

They name the guy in one of the releases. Check Beck's first post or Priest's announcement on the main page.

Why?  hope its not a medical issue.  then I can just be pissed off at him.  but seriously, are they touring as a  piece, or is there a replacement?  who could replace kk?  who would?  I am sure that there are guitarists with the skill, but is an established player going to join a band that admits they are on the way out?

I don't want to be negative. I don't want to rip anyone.
I've been making a conscious effort to not annoy anyone by doing so.
I do share some of your sentiments though. I love these guys and everything
they've given us(except Nostradamus) but it's hard to remain excited or care
about anything new when we keep getting let down with these releases.

Like I said Budred...."who gives a shit anymore" ya know? lol! I mean its just one letdown after another! Come on,Nostradamus lasting 3 long years and all ect..."blah".   This really shouldn't shock us at all...like I said whats next Halford leaving Priest again and just leaving Glenn and Ian? lol! fuck it.  I'm not holding my breath for this next album, its going to be to hard to beat Painkiller or any "good worthy" album K.K. is on.

It's over Johnny!!! It's over!

Not really but it should be. I really don't want to see a revolving cast of bandmates just
so the remaining few can still make money at our expense. I'm grateful for all they have
given us  and their is no other band that I would of had as a favorite. The last decade has
been disappointment after disappointment. Maybe it's time to put the old dog down.

What a kick in the balls ! There must be some in camp fighting, how can he just end it like this ? WTF ! I guess the BS Tour was the true EPITAPH. That SUX.

Well,K.K.'s signature "riffs" will be absent on the next and LAST album, and the album "could" be altered because of it. I hope he is not "ILL" with cancer,or any kind of sickness to say the least. But for me its way too hard for me to get excited about this next album without K.K. on it. I'm glad for others who won't be phased but for me its the nail in the coffin. I'll have a listen to the next album when it comes out but I won't be waiting for it with excitement anymore.

I don't know what happened, but I have faith in Judas Priest that the album to be released next year is going to be awesome.

I still care. A lot. This band means so so much to me, and I won't let things like this dampen that. Yeah it sucks, but Priest have given so much to the world of metal, and have played a large part in my life, and helped me through some dark times. I still care.

Who cares anymore Becks. This band has been on a downward spiral for the last 5 years. Everything is one disappointment after another. I hope he is not sick or ill I'm not being that selfish, but really I just don't give a shit anymore.
I don't really care for the Halford project that much, only the Crucible album is ok,but nothing compared to Priest.

I'm gald you Hellrider will enjoy the Halford band's next album, but as in the past I'm uninterested to say the least.

This fucking sucks.

None of us really know "what happened' Becks, but my money$ lays on that K.K. wanted to do another album just like 'Nostradamus" and Rob and Glenn,Ian and Scott did not want to go in that direction. Nostradamus was K.K.'s "baby" and it was his monument, and when it didn't take off that good he probably didn't have anything left in the tank for old school metal.

So be it,but Judas Priest isn't going to be the same without him. I don't think this next album can possibly be as good as Painkiller,or Angel Of Retribution. Can it?
