I think anyone should save an animal whenever possible. My little (getting fat) Lucy is a rescue dog. She was emaiciated when I got her, now, she bordering on "pig" because I hate to see her hungry for a second. Now I have to adjust my attitude.
As for shot peening, I'm sure you will find many worthy. LOL

Yeah I know....it sucks....but its a life experience having an animal....its the risk we all take when we get them..ect...as you know obviously...
but I think that the good times with them out-weigh the pain from losing them so its kind of a catch 22 if you will ya know it? You have
any animals right now Hellrider? a insulin injection once every 12 hours....it sounds like a pain in the ass but really its just another quick step at medicating him since he

so thats why I haven't "put him down"....he still is kickin it so I am his "servant" lol!!! He takes his lumps very well for an animal that

If you know that is the key to getting in, then you are welcome. Some fools would only yell at a barking dog. To be judged by an animal who naturally knows no hate, is to be judged by purity. If you fail to pass the gait, you must me an ass. LOL | | guidogodoy wrote: | | No "thanks" are necessary and I haven't really even mentioned it because I think it is just doing what is right. As you could imagine, here in rural TN, many do NOT treat animals well. I'd say "most" but don't mean to condescend (although it really SEEMS so). I have had idiots throw puppies out of moving trucks while I am walking my dogs and they barely slow down. 20MPH? I had my next door neighbor threaten to shoot (with a pistol, mind you) a dog I was feeding because it was some sort of "threat."
When I say "humane society" that is not really true. It is two sisters who own a big farm and are also sick of this sort of attitude. They have taken in hundreds if not thousands of animals and need both physical as well as economic help.
Nina, my rat terrier, had a previous owner that kept her in a freakin' cat carrier all day, FFS!! Of course, all are good "church goin' Baptists" but don't get me started there.
My only hope is that the gates of Heaven are held by an animal.... | | spapad wrote: | | Saint Guido! I love it, and don't doubt it! Congrats! | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Oh KEWL! Looks like I showed up at the right time!
Great news about the job, J.D. I'll start thinking up some evil we can do with that sucker ASAP!
(oh, and btw....I donate regularly to both our local humane society as well as to the one in Michigan where I got my two rescue birds. I've easily placed a hundred animals over the years and actually HELP in the cleaning and care of animals at our local rescue place. Plus, I am nice! HAAAAA!!!). Now then, back to the peening.... :) |
