YOUR problem, Vail, is due to something running in the background. Java....be sure you are running the latest version. Yahoo is a horrible proggie and problem. MSN is also a major culprit.
Figure out what is running in the background (look at the tray or do a CTRL+ALT+DELETE) and see what is screwing you up. Firefox is "clean" in nerd-speak. I have looked at the code and it is very well written. IE is a resource hog that both clogs RAM and is open to so many external attacks that it makes me wonder if Microsoft even CARES!
Yeah, I loathe MS even though I build at least one machine a year and run five in my house. Can you tell? Typing on my Mac. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Saturday, November 07, 2009 11:56:19 AM) | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Hi, Jeanine!! Good to see you here!!!
I've had that same kind of runtime error for a while. Try using Firefox as an web browser. That pop-up shouldn't come up anymore if you use it as your default browser. I still get it every once in a while even with Firefox, but that's only if I'm jumping from thread to thread frequently.
And I saw Rob's post at the Q. Pretty cool!! | | Jeanine wrote: | | sorry haven't been on here as often as I like. I have been having computer issues on my new computer only with THIS website. Guido, it gives me a runtime error? So, I have to fire up my old computer which I am on now just to come here. Of course my husband transferred all of my stored JP photos to the new computer so I don't have a lot of ammo to decorate this lovely thread with . Thanks for your patience, I hope to have the problem resolved hopefully soon.
Other news to share, I got to speak to Rob on Rockline the other night, It was great to hear his beautiful voice and ladies, he remembered Milwaukee!!! I also noticed Rob replied to a recent thread at the Q which was very cool of him to do. The thread was about the review of "Winter Songs". Talk to you all soon. |

With NO information, let me guess....you are using Internet Explorer on a Windows machine.
PM me with specifics like your operating system (OS: XP, Vista) and if I am correct about the above (and I bet I am). Seen it a hundred times and I can fix it provided I have the info that will allow me to do it long-distance.
