We had very little snowpack in the Sierra Nevadas this year. In fact, the govenor of the state declared our current water restrictions after visiting the site where snowpack is measured every year. Usually there would be 1-5 feet of snow in that particular area. This year? Nothing. Just dead grass.
The day here today? Sunny, warm, highs in the 80s. Currently listening to? Myself munching on some pita chips. HA!
Yes, our snowpack was a bit dismal this year. areas that should have had more than 30 feet had less than 25, resulting the the alpine wildflower season starting a month early. Shitty day today. wind, temps in high 40's, wind was over 40mph, and rainy. cold as crap.
