I love Joe Walsh, except the bluegrass stuff.
I don't know.................I'm thinking that even if I were sitting in a cafe with a leg cast on, crutches parked beside me, using a knitting needle to reach those itches down in the cast you just can't reach any other way.......... in France,................it would somehow make it all seem just that much more relaxed because it's not Here. lol
Thank god I don't have a broken leg, and I do have a job at least. Yes, count my blessings and all.............in VA.
Have fun on your down time, when you get it.

HA!! Well, at this point and with broken fingers from both working and walking up hills (sorry, same word for "fingers of the feet and hand"), you might think over that "bleeding heart" twice. 1am here and this is a 7-12am WORKday.
Ok, kick in with Joe Walsh....."can't complain but sometimes I still do"- without much $ or fame to my name, mind you! Not "sane" nor do I have an answering machine! LOL!!!!
Humm, A working trip in France? or sitting at my desk all day in VA. I'll take France. My heart just bleeds for you. lol (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Tuesday, May 12, 2015 7:15:35 PM)

Back in Paris and now 2am. Thanks for the good wishes but not a whole heck of a lot of fun. More work than anything. Eh, gotta go where there is work, eh?
REAL vacation is in Brazil again soon. Good to see you and some old friends again, though!

May 2011, huh? You were there before they put up that "The Other Side" sign above the "Calico". The house looks much better without it (of course).
And a pic much like the one you got of the church lol!

Becks, you've been there?? When did you go? We really lucked out with the weather. Not too hot, and with the occasional breeze. Only regret at the moment, though, is not getting to visit the cemetery. Just not enough time. I'd definitely visit again. Back in civilization, sadly.
Guido, I don't know what that contraption is, but you might be right. It does have that pulley on top. 11 pm sunsets, though?? Damn!! I remember when the sun would set at 9 pm in Berlin.

Nice pics Vail, and for once I can actually say, I've been there! LOL! We thought it was neat, if very very hot lol.

Yup, that building was once a schoolhouse.
That mountain below is MUCH more colorful in person. I think I took 10 pics of this mountain alone! Somebody use their fancy Photoshop skills to enhance the colors!

Huh. Crayfish=lobster, eh? Yup, we bait hooks with "crayfish" in the States (Michigan, at least) to catch fish. Even in my tired state when I posted last night, I had a feeling that nobody would actually dive for those little suckers! LOL!!! Thanks again for the education. Learn something new on JP.com all the time!
BTW, they call them thar "crawlies" by the name "crawdads" in the South. Same little "fruit of the sea" we use to bait hooks in the North.
You must be thinking of what we call crawlies, those little mini crayfish. Crayfish is what we call lobsters.

Thanks, Becks!
Yup, saw her again tonight. Smoker (didn't see that one last night) and really out of shape so you are right...no valid opinion on the matter. I did mention your point about the wreck dives (wonderful - I love 'em) and the lobsters but crayfish? Unless you can catch about a few hundred of those little suckers, I wouldn't think that anyone dives for them. No matter as the woman did a 180 on me and said that she had heard that there is wonderful diving in NZ. Hmmm..... Curious.
Becks wrote:
Well if she is not a scuba diver her opinion is void on that matter lol. There is good diving, I don't know where not being a scuba diver either, I have a friend whose husband dives for crayfish (lobsters?) down in the South Island, and up North you can dive the wreck of the Rainbow Warrior (greenpeace ship bombed by French intelligence agents in the 80s).

Couldn't resist. Got a bit of a tour going out to a Medieval castle here in Brittany today. Way kewl. As it is Sat, I also spoke with a woman from Amsterdam tonight while sipping on a lovely home-made strawberry rum. Said lady SWORE that there was no good diving in New Zealand. Becks? Any comment? That, I find hard to believe. Woman was admittedly not a scuba diver herself but I really question that one. I need some ammo to back up what I doubt should I ever see this lady again!
Anyhoo, the first thing you see at the castle gates! A battering RAMMMMMM!!
