I agree with all. This tour (especially in Detroit) was OUTSTANDING!!! Not to be missed! ALL were really on their game there. Not that seeing them in Lousiville with a bunch of friends was bad, just short set and a lot of bands I didn't want to see (plus cold!). Better than last tour and I thought THAT was great (especially Hammond, IN). Richie was a miracle for the rejuvination of the band. Kicked everyone back into high gear including Rob who was, as you say, just killer!
Hope Bwian is turning over in his grave at how good both the album and tour are now! LOL!

Harbaugh is just an intense/insane competitor and he will bring Michigan back. I was so pissed when Florida beat OSU for the Championship but Urban is from Ashtabula, OH which is about 15 miles down the road from me, so I got over it.

Just incredible. I scared the dogs for all my shouting at the TV. Not terribly thrilled with Harbaugh going to U of M (he is kind of a jerk) but ANYONE has to be better than their last coach. As for OSU, I never thought I'd be cheering for them but it was because they were playing against Nick Saban's team! When he coached for MSU, he swore that he'd never leave. Then, go figure, he is gone the next year. Traitor!!

Best advice I could give, HB. Put a Zagg (military strength) screen cover on that sucker! I am sitting here fixing cracked iPads along with iPhones and I can't tell you how many I have done in the past. Drop it and you'll crack both the screen and digitizer (usually factory attached so even if the digitizer still works, you are screwed). I fix them at cost for the part for friends but it is MUCH better to prevent the cracked screen before it even happens.
Those things are prone to breakage. Just google Zagg. One stipulation I always put on anything I fix for free. PREVENT BREAKAGE!!!

Agreed, J.D.! As I said before, seeing Priest at the Fox in Detroit ranks amongst my favorite concerts! There in a beautiful venue with friends and relatives, caught a GREAT show (EVERYONE was fucking awesome!), caught a pick and had all but Rob come out to meet and greet after the show. As you said, nothing short of pro equipment can fully record the power of high screams and low bass, my bro's i6 did a damn good job on the couple of songs he recorded (mic is MUCH better than the i5 that couldn't handle the range especially so close). Simply outstanding.

Last night he was fucking ON! People who are wanting vocals clear as the 70's are the same people who consistantly complain at resturants,neighbor's trees hanging over thier fence and a long list of other nit picky demands.
Richie Faulkner was so inspirational as we have seen...pounding his chest,head banging with the front row and his signature solos were a highlight of the night...Glenn was so "cool" as he always is.....his solos were bad fuckin ass,Ian and Scott as well were having a blast.
Richie is the heart of the band now showing now like before that he is a TRUE member if Judas Priest...his solos are so different from K.K.'s as should be but its just such a natural fit...it seems like he has been in the band since the 80's and is the driving force behind Judas Priest now.

While they put Priest #4 (after Maiden...harumph), There is a GREAT interview with Rob of some four pages right at the beginning. Now THAT is due respect to the Metal God himself.

Here I had a good bunch of kids show up in the early evening. Then it started to sprinkle for a few minutes. After that it was dead silent. But yeah, weather is definitely a big factor as far as turnout goes...also depending on what day Halloween falls. You'll most likely get little to no trick-or-treaters if it falls on a Tuesday, for example, with school being in session here and all.
Small turnout overall, so there's enough candy left in the bowl to satisfy my sweet tooth for the rest of the year. Heh.
