I know exactly what you mean. Although I have a degree, it's from a school most people laugh at because it's not prestigious & many have never heard of it
(so I might as well not even have a degree). And most of the f**kwits I know who have fancy-dancy degrees from snooty places can't walk & chew gum at the same time.
Let alone survive in the real world so I hear ya!

you would have loved to meet some of the people I have met.
I was delivering cars to some people from a "learned society"
so there are 4 of them when I pull up. these are all people with multiple degrees
its noon, in the northern hemisphere (calgary canada to be exact), bright sunny day.
they ask for directions to banff
I say" no problem, folow this road, when you get to 16th avenue, turn west. that takes you all the way to banff, and 8 more hours to the pacific"
the road is facing directly toward the sun.
all 4 of them look confused and ask me which way west is.
you would have thought one of them could figure it out.
