no its not airbrushed. My girlfriend and I went to the local walmart and looked at several fabric patterns. She picked out the pattern on the guitar and I picked out one with skulls. Doing a side by side when we got home, we decided to do the lightning on the RG and I will do the skulls on my kids SG....
