Whats so funny is that just about anyone could sing that. Where's the good guitar solo? No way these guys can compete with the masters like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. HaHa! Too funny. Third.....Take a look at what shirt the singer is wearing first off...its Bathory's first album 1984,the vocals totally pay homage to Quorthon(Bathory R.I.P.) and the flame spitting is also a tribute to "Quorthon" of Bathory as he used to do this as the Norwegians took this up like Abbath from Immortal so your a dumb fuck for asking.
A real old-school fan would know this and where is the guitar solo in the opening track "Hades" on the first Bathory album dipshit?? There isn't one because not every track HAS to have a guitar solo and this was the philosophy back in the early to mid 80's way before the pop-cultured shit bands like Nirvana chose not to use guitar solos because they didn't know how to play them or the record company told them not to because of the latest "trend".
Bands like Bathory would occasionaly pumble a song all the way through with NO solo sometimes upholding the philosophy of the 70's punk like Venom sometimes used to do. Where is the "guitar solo" in Breaking The Law?? There isn't one so I suppose Judas Priest sucks because they didn't play a freakin "guitar solo" like Iron Maiden would of? Psfffff what a joke.

Yeah Metallark these guys have the "old-school" scene flowing through thier viens,they uphold the "image/aesthetics" along with the sound of the 80's with bands like the old-Slayer's first 4 albums from 83' to 86' and Bathory's vocals,Sodom...ect...this is what "metal" is all about,they roll thrash,speed.death into one and again with thier image is stating that they hail the 80's and are saying fuck off to new-nu-aged metal scene.

Yes, I saw it. I actually thought it was cool to listen to Painkiller backwards! LOL!!! All the bullshit that that "fair weather preacher" was reading into the messages, though, THAT was more than over the edge. The comments that followed (and I read every one) were really into the two camps that almost inevitably form: those that bash him and those that blinldy follow.
One of the reasons I never posted that vid here. By definition, the "fair weather preacher" only preaches in fair weather. I have been on many a college campus when you have someone such as that idiot in WAY over his head trying to shout down a Dr. of Theology to no avail. Their whole point is to garner attention, not to necessarily be proven "right" in their (silly) assertions.
Cool video, though. Were it not such BS, I'd even post it. I do NOT believe Priest have ever been "evil." Quite the contrary, I have always drawn great inspiration from them. I understand what you are trying to say here Priest Hammer at least 70% of "heavy metal" music deals with the"dark side" not all of it,but alot of it and they read too much into it your right.Its a show just like Vincint Price (actor )used to play an evil character in most his movies but he wasn't evil,its a movie just like what heavy metal bands write about like Hellrider,Demonizer,Deal With The Devil...I know that Rob Himself probably believes in christianity in one way or another but yet he still likes to induldge into the dark side of lyrics and songs because theres something thats cool about writting about the devil and the pit of hell,demons,evil..ect....

I know this,there are upbeat and positive sides to heavy metal as well,but only about 30% ...if we go back and try and disect Priest's discography we would find that 70% of all thier songs are leaning towards the darkside because "thats what is cool".
