Since whitesnake is not going to be in the Dallas concert, what is the plan. Are you going on early or will there be a replacement for them?

Hell Bent for Leather was left out for the whole tour. Freewheel Burning replaced it. FB is a great song, no doubt about that, but I still miss hearing Hell Bent for Leather live.

I was gonnna post this in Questions For The Band, but that topic is closed.

I have to know....
Is 'Hell Bent For Leather' left out of the whole tour, or was it just not played in San Diego because of what happened last time it was played at SDSU Open Air???

Thank You Guys For A Great Show !!!
I was at the Aug. 4 2009 show at SDSU Open Air Theatre.
I traveled 800 miles from Humboldt County CA because I wanted to see you guys at SDSU again.

My first time seeing you was Sun June 15 1980, there at SDSU Open Air.  I was 17 years old.  It was far short of a full house, but you guys made the best of it.  That show was so great, and word got around...  JUDAS PRIEST ARE THE METAL GODS!!!
I was kinda pissed when the following year, the crowd outside broke down the fences.  I was also kinda tickled at how much your following grew in just one year.

Thank You Guys Again For A Great Show, And Making Me Feel Like I was 17 Again!!!

LOVE YOU GUY!!!

Hey guys!  Hope the earthquake in Baja didn't interrupt the tour - looks like it was far enough away.  Nonetheless, hope all are safe!  Here's to a great show tomorrow and a successful recording in Florida ; )  I can't wait to get my hands on the finished product!  I imagine we'll all be a bit surprised!!

Keep well!

August 20th is fast approaching. Just curious if there is any way to get backstage passes or if the band will be meeting fans

One this MetalMum's proudest moments happened during the 'Priest set in San Antonio - I'd almost forgotten I was there with my son ... d'oh!  I was quickly reminded when I turned around and saw him headbanin' & singing right along with me  ... he stopped for a second, and looked at me with this grin
Thanks guys for such a great show!!! See you next time ...

OH, My GOD! Thank You Bill, Jayne, and Boys!

What a GREAT way to start my day as to see that you have answered us once again by making, what will be a treasured, DVD of this British Steel Tour, '09! I'm sure it will look and sound awesome as it did live with the light and laser show that was put on.
Thanks again guys. You are ALL Metal Gods in my book!!!

Hey Guys! I , like QT travelled to the San Antonio show, as always, you were amazing. I also had my ten year old son there with me( his first concert ). He was floored at what he witnessed, and wants to see you guys again. So looks like we`ll be seeing in August when you roll thru Grand Prairie!! Thanks for being such masters at what you do!!

My Dearest Metal Gods!

I traveled to San Antonio & Corpus Christi, Texas to see you.
I was front row in CC. Rob & KK might have seen me jumping around.
You both smiled and pointed to me.
You all looked super sexy!
And for the show, I’m absolutely blown away again. Nights I hope to remember forever. CC was your 3 show in a row. I don’t know how the hell you guys do it but thank you so much for working so hard for your fans.
We really do appreciate it!
I made you more necklaces. They were given to Martin on the morning of Corpus Christi by Chris, Pop Evil’s manager.
BTW, they rocked too and are very cool guys.  I enjoyed them a lot.  Nice pick.

I hope the necklaces and pendants made their way to you. I worked really hard on them.

Again,
Please give us a DVD.
We’re all screaming DVD!
DVD! DVD! DVD!

Lots of Love,
Tina (QT)

I'd just like to say "Thank You" to the members of Judas Priest for all the music and momories over the years. I am a fan from Canada who has seen every tour for the past 27 years ( I missed Toronto this year, but will see you in New Hampshire in August!). Music is the universal language that none of us can claim to fully understand, but Priest has managed to master a small piece to claim as it's own. Seeing you in concert always gives me goose bumps at the start of each show and it always feels like Christmas morning - that electrical charge and connection to youth can never be bottled or sold in a can. But Judas Priest provides that for the faithful. I have & will always keep the faith! Looking forward to seeing you on the 23rd....and "thanks" again for FINALLY playing Dissident Aggressor on the Nostadamus Tour in Montreal last summer!

Cheers!

Hello Priest!

You see.........., most fans agree that a DVD
of this British Steel show must be made. (thanks wheels50, royalbobcat, etc.) It would go like hot cakes...... especially to all the long time fans who want to add this chapter to our Metal Memories collection. Also for our children to pass on that the Priest were and always will be........The Metal Gods!

Please Jayne, Bill. Any possibility? You've always came through for us.
Please do so now.
Ken

I totally agree with ken8706 about a dvd of the British Steel tour. My daughter and I saw you in New York at the Nikon Jones Beach Theater and it was awsome. I wish you had played longer but the setlist was great, and it was good to hear rarely played songs like Rapid Fire, Steeler, and The Rage live. My daughter loved it so much (her first Priest concert) before we got to the parking lot she said, "oh my god when are they coming back again"? Edited at: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 7:29:42 PM

To the Metal Gods:

I have been a loyal and devoted fan since I was 10 years old and have seen every tour since 1980 here in Michigan and other venues and they have all been outstanding shows, I have seen the British Steel tour in Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago and I am going to Cincinatti tomorrow night, I drive to the shows and then drive home all night and then go straight to work in the morning.

I was in absolute awe when I saw the first show of this amazing tour in Toronto, I literally had shivers down my spine throughout the entire show and tears of joy in my eyes with your current setlist, never in a million years did I think I would see a show with a dream setlist like that.

This is by far the most incredable tour I have ever seen in my life, I have been to literally thousands of shows in my life and no other band can even come close to what you are achieving on this tour, you are rock solid, tighter than hell and giving it 110% percent every night,   Mr. Halford voice is capable of hitting notes that no other mere mortal can come close to, my God my knees get weak when that man sings, K.K., Glen your are shredding those axes in a manner unlike I have ever seen before, Ian, Scott, flawless and amazing.

This is my dream tour with the single best setlist I have ever seen from any band, Priest are my Idols and this set list just keeps me coming back for more, until my bank account runs dry.

Cincinatti show sitting in Pit L row F seat 16 and it would be my dream come true to meet my favorite band and thank them for delivering the best tour and set list that ever seen in my life and I know it can never be equalled by any other band.

Other bands take heed on what is being delivered on stage by the Mighty Priest as every other band in the world are simply mortal compared to the Metal Gods that be the Priest.

Thank you again for this tour and the perfect set list as you have made me and all of your loyal fans happier than words can ever express, I pray you will be releasing a DVD of this tour.

From the bottom of my heart thank you for doing this tour as it has been the best concert experience of my life.

I'm still speechless from the experience of seeing British Steel in it's entirety, unbelievable.

Matt A.  Detroit, Michigan
