Who's the better vocalist?

I might be one of the few people who really like both singers. Halford though is the superior singer and frontman, but Tim is very talented and is a great vocalist. Personally, I like Priest better with Halford, but I loved the Beyoned Fear album and I look forward to purchasing the new Tim Owens solo album. So everyone quit bashing Rob or Tim, they are both great singers. Rob though will ALWAYS be THE METAL GOD.

My young friend, I have no doubt that I could "learn something" from Owens. In fact , I could quite likely "learn something" from every vocalist that has ever existed. Hell, I could learn something from Bjork, but I am not interested in hearing her do Exciter either....

Wow, I didn't think that this thread would still be alive. That being said I will share my OPINION. I personally enjoy some of the Ripper material as well as some of his work with Beyond Fear. But please let me make it very clear. I first was impressed with Priest because of Halford's vocals and the twin guitar riffs of Tipton and Downing. Owens was a "fill in" who hopefully finds his own way in the world of Metal. Now please................................................................................................
