I respect your opinion because it shows you`re honest and you`re a Rocker for expressing what you feel ( Do as I feel as I say ). However, I can`t understand yet why you don`t like this album. Well, you say it`s too long and experimental and it doesn`t have the Judas Priest sound but aren`t you happy that Judas Priest is a band that evolves reather than being stuck, doing the same thing all the time. Their creativity flows, they`ve challenged themselves more than ever with Nostradamus. They`re still Judas Priest , they are just creating Metal in a different new light. Personally, I love the album and I say it from the bottom of my heart, not following the general opinon and I think that makes me a true Judas Priest fan too.

1001 ways to know your a Judas Priest fan humm...Maybe I'm not as big as a fan as most of you on here, even though Judas Priest are my favorite band of all time,I simply can not support this band for everything that they do.
I bought 2 Priest tickets back in May 2008 to see them in Seattle for the July show, but when I bought the tickets I had not yet heard any sound samples from the new album Nostradamus. Then, after I had already bought the tickets...I heard the entire album and I was sooo disappointed, that I "gave away" my 2 tickets to a friend that had nothing to do that night..I "gave them away" free..(I guess I should of posted them on E-bay) but I said "fuck it" and tossed them away to a friend.
Thats how "pissed off" I was at this band for recording this 'Nostradamus" album,it ruined the entire outlook for me even though I found out later that they only played a couple of tracks off Nostradamus it did'nt matter to me and still does'nt.
Going to the show would of been a "tease" for me because the band should have it in them to make a killer record, but instead they chose to do something for "experimental fans".So be it. I never bought the Nostradamus album, and I might never own it.
If the next album is anything like Nostradamus,I will again not buy the album, and will not go to the show,no way. I still love this band, and I still give them credit for thier "efforts" in trying to please everybody but I am not happy with thier decisions and direction of the band. Maybe I'm not a "true Judas Priest fan" to all of you for my opinions here, but I am a "true heavy metal fan" who knows his metal, and knows it very well.

I planted a rose garden so that I would never miss the "Last rose of summer." Quite inspiring to see a beautiful rose bush in bloom covered with 3 inches of snow in November, saying to the weather! I often wonder if that is what inspired Rob to write that song. |

OUR FIRST DANCE WAS TO "HONESTLY" BY STRYPER.
THE FIRST TWO SONGS AFTER THAT TO LET EVERY ONE KNOW LETS PARTY AND THIS IS NOT YOUR TRADITIONAL WEDDING WAS 'ROTTEN TO THE CORE ' BY OVERKILL THEN 'CAUGHT IN A MOSH' BY ANTHRAX.
WITH THE COST OF WEDDINGS, I WAS GOING TO HAVE A PARTY EVERYONE WAS GOING TO REMEMBER. |

Almost everything I say is like, part of Priest lyrics and I draw a lot of Priest-related stuff like Painkiller. I also listen to them every day too.... hehe! I even used to dance to Screaming for Vengeance but I kicked myself in the face (damn my flexibilities) when Halford said "kicked in the face" and then I stopped dancing to that and now I dance to other songs. hehehe.....
