I've been wondering myself and my friends are trying to decipher what it could be. It is most certainly a very dark and intriguing creature.....

Yeah it would be cool if he was still alive. But he's dead so it's very uncool. I just looked up Thin Lizzy on Wikipedia, you should see some of the people who are "in Thin Lizzy" these days. Ricky Warwick from The Almighty is the lead singer. Unbelieveable. Vivian Campbell from Dio and Def Leppard was in there at one point. What are these yo-yos thinking? Thin Lizzy without Phil Lynott? You're right, it is lame.

I understand how you feel about Thin Lizzy. A WTF moment if ever.
I don't go to a show for the opening acts though. If they are good, all the better, but if they were ALL good I would have never had to lay eyes on Bon Jovi.  Now that would be a memory I would gladly erase.
If Phil were still alive, I could see it, as they used to tour the same circuts in the UK long ago. That would have been cool, instead of lame.

Do both of them.

I'm debating now that I think about it. I would LOVE to see Judas Priest on the 25th to scream "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GLENN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" to Glenn. Then there's San Bernardino, where I saw JP live for the first time.

Hmmm...what to do, what to do...

...
Ah, to hell with it. Let's see if I can make it to both.

And at the Gibson.
See you in San Bernardino.

How the hell can Thin Lizzy be opening for them? Phil Lynott's been dead for 25 years. And Gary Moore's dead too. WTF?????
[Becks] Tuesday, May 24, 2011 11:55:56 PM
If I could I'd fly to the show in San Diego cos it's on my birthday! That'd be one kick ass way to spend it. Very jealous you US fans can start making plans now, hoping still for a tour date down here.

Metal Assault said that this is the First Leg of the North American tour with more dates to be announced. I'm sure Pittsburgh and Cleveland will be announced. But we are going to DEEEEEEEEEETROIT as well as the Chicago show the day before. See you there unless a closer show to you is announced

Looks like Detroit for me. I'm a little surprised they won't be hitting Cleveland or Pittsburgh though.
Since I've been listening to them they only skipped Pittsburgh once and I don't think they ever skipped
Cleveland. 5 1/2 hrs drive time sucks but I've done it about 3 times before(twice for Metallica and once
for Priest) so I guess I can do it once more.

I would love to go to Chicago! I hope i don't get lost. If I use Mapquest I'm guarenteed to get within three blocks of my destination, and then get wrong directions! Just like Nashville.
