Yeah, I would have rather seen Volbeat open. The new album seems to have a few decent songs. Of course I got a disk with the tickets and have not listened to the whole thing yet. should work on that I guess.

Headliner was good. All that matters. I had a chance to go but St. Louis was the closest and that long a drive to see a band I had seen a bunch of times in their heyday before they got all "cool" to see and mainstream (BORING, from the Black Album on, IMO) just didn't make me really consider it. Especially, as you mentioned, with Gorija. Megadeth with SCORPIONS (NOT the other way around) would be the better ticket, IMO. Again, not coming close to me.

Was quite a good show. next time I go to this venue I will spring for better seats, was a bit high up, never been there before. Gojira was sort of Meh, A7x did a good job, not nessesarily my cup of tea. Metallica mixed the set up well, good pyro, good energy. well done

Good info but how long ago did that happen? Are we talking last month or years ago?
Might as well post this in public to save others the effort but I tried for an account for Acolyte yesterday with a new email addy. No deals. Hit the same "no email confirmation" subroutine server-side here. Registers the email but no confirmation is ever sent. I'll try to send an email to see if anything comes of it. Here's hoping for that birthday present, Acolyte.

I once change my e-mail, I could'nt log on after that either. But I mailed Murray Francis and explained my problem to him, then he set it right for me again.

Hmmm...not a bad idea. Actually, that's prolly the best idea so far. If I remember correctly, even creating a new account here nowadays has its issues.
