Thanks, resident insomniac! I knew you could be counted on to try and help Trixi get over her lack of sleep, a lack of sleep caused, without doubt, by news of the potential retirement of an aging heavy metal band.
Not even in the slightest. Melatonin is for those old farts who want massive headaches (and odd dreams) and vitamin C?! LOL! Yeah, take some "B" with it. Placebo. You think it works....um ok. Valerian, while not named, is also a hokey over-the-counter that a Mommy Blogger might hawk.
Go run a marathon, lift some weights, learn to dive and bust out of those Mommy jeans. Best advice around.

We can´t say enough, in different ways, what enormous personality Rob Halford is! We can also write and send about the past and something about our dreams to the band, that must go in your metal head!!!!!!!

It doesn´t matter, I write what I want, I´m free and I have friends overthere. You don´t doubt on the sophisticated works of Judas Priest,
in nearly every interwiew, the band have spoken about to expand the boundaries of Heavy Metal! I´m not ready to write on this topic. The band makes deliberate differences between their albums,
this is what I want to make it clear!

You (and most of you new to the board) should read before you post.
Most is already here. Many of the things you and the rest of your "newbie" (?? still doubt that one) friends have posted were already here. Just look.
I´m so nervous about the potential retiring of the band and I have so much fantastic videos, interviews and pictures to send!
We are a big Judas Priest family, we gotta stick together!
The display is large, but the contens of the latest interviews, are very important for all the fans, they Judas Priest like!

Read down a bit. You made your pix so large that it didn't show the proper quote. Vail and Jerri were speaking of sleep remedies.
You didn't write to ME about anything and you often quote yourself more any anyone else. Not too hard to see that I was responding to another convo.
Make pix smaller and it'll be easier to quote people properly.
I want to write about Judas Priest, not only about sleeping pills, or whatever!
What do you think about retiring of Judas Priest? Is this the absolutely end?
This is the reason for sleepless nights, for the rest of my life! The band have to continue!

I´m so sorry, that the display explow, Judas Priest have so much power :-) I tried the first time
to get some videos for you, from you tube to this homepage!

You are a nice person, you are also a huge fan and you have also sensitive and intense emotions about this band. I appreciate this. We will be through this music very close together and we have a wild enthusiasm and passion for Judas Priest, we are very close to the band!
I wanted be united with Judas Priest to the eternity! It is a damned good feeling! I don´t want to miss my deep feelings and I don´t want to lose my emotions to Judas Priest. The feelings come from my heart; nobody can stop this, it´s a part of my soul. Your friend, Trixie
I want to speak never for all people and I´ll respect other meanings, only in a polite way!
Nobody can say the albums are a fucking shit and I´m loony, man! You must accept me and my meaning, too! Everybody must read the Introductions before you write on this page, no one have to be rude in here! I want to have a civilized conversation on this homepage!
Accepting! This is what I want to read. I will accept your meaning and you will accept my feelings, about this. I don´t want to influence your point of view, all I want is to realize this Opera Nostradamus for the heavy demanding fans of Judas Priest and I think a real fan should also like the new albums as well. It´s up to the fans, if it´s in demand, it will be an offer.

Well, the only thing I am confused about is your use of the term "forums" (are you speaking of multiple ones or just THIS forum?) and the thread.
Anyone posting about purchases here is in the wrong thread. Plus, IS there a "catalouge" for Priest? Make with a link if so!

do not thank me Trixi...i tell the truth....
i agree with you too....(about Rob,KK,Glenn and the others)...about their art and works....
these guys are always be in kindergarten....they can't think...even see the secret side of music....JP always show it to each who want to feel the thread of rock/of heavy metal.......
i just imagine the surprised faces of all members of JP...
what they say about these "fans"....
You mustn´t like this album, but you must respect the very hard and perfect work and the other fans! One song flows into another. They don´t have to play only Operas in the future and only one way of music, but it is a nice perspective, change and development into another direction! I can´t speak for all of the fans, that´s why I told you, what my opinion is, but you are not licensed to drag Nostradamus and the other albums, through the dirt! For instance,” The Rage”, Reggae meets Metal, Rob said: it isn´t absurd, it´s great, it works, Rob loves and enjoys this different styles in his music. Turbo Lover has a kind of pop sound with metal, it´s great. The fans are a important part of the band, but it is a kind of artistic freedom they have. Other bands maybe are afraid of their careers, they don´t try this, but Judas are really proud of what they do with very much self- confident. They hold on their created styles and that´s why Judas Priest one unique band and not like the others. Rob Halford and Glenn Tipton want to do this, it is impossible to provide Judas Priest what they have to do, you can only suggest something! They do the right thing in the right time, not all belongs to the fans! Rob Halford hate negative critics, he can´t hear this anymore and I think he is really proud of what he do, in every perspective! So long, Trixie
Trixi wrote:
Thank you, Tania! I have absolutely the same meaning! That´s childish, we are not in the Kindergarten!
I prefer Rob Halford with Judas Priest, I only don´t like the albums with Ripper Owens, it´s terrible if he sings the parts of Rob Halford, Judas Priest belongs to Rob Halford forever!
Why do you stay on this page when you don´t like the albums of the Priest!?
Glenn and Rob wants to experiment, to give the metal more approval, it´s great, you must accept and feel it! The realizing of a masterwork it´s fantastic! Nostradamus is a sophisticated concept album, not only one 5 minute hit!
I don´t like Nostradamus, I love it! I fall for the music of Rob Halford and I´m just a Prisoner of his eyes and I´m really proud of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know what i say..i feel and understand all these things....
just you , i mean you....never understand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
right....all what you say means that YOU don't respect not only Glenn,KK,Ian and Scott...moreover Rob Halford......
Nostra is like an excellent experiment of JP which stand at very high level after Painkiller....neccessary to go further but not standing at one road..at one riff or melody.....
JP teach us everything....and we like a carriers of it should say good things but not yours stupid stuff...
that's all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its silly if you cant explain why you like an album too. you havent.
I dont like Nost because it the music doesnt reach out and grab my soul. it just ends up being background noise. the passion doesnt come thru to me.
Halford band, almost the same thing but in a different way. the emotions of the musicians doenst come thru, there isnt the balance between the instruments and robs voice.
Now for the ripper albums I like jugulator, and even a little bit for Demo. why, they maintain that balance between the singer and the musicians
for you to not like those albums is to say you dont respect glen, kk, ian and scott.
Tania2194AD wrote:
it's good that you understand that it's difficult and bal..bla.......but you never can't understand the range of this album (Nostra)...and the meaning of the 2wo, or of the Fight.....
moreover it's not only the understanding of this music but you need to feel it in your own......to see it....
i know that everyone have their own opinion but your opinion is not intelligent in this way..... it looks silly and very....
unless to explain
you can't see (understand and feel) the thread of music....the golden 'string' of each song that Halford or JP had made in their albums....therefore you say like that.......
Head banger wrote:
Its art, sure, I grant the point. its difficult and takes skill. so does opera, I dont like that.
I like the vast majority of Priest albums, all the Fight stuff, have tried to forget Tw0, and Halford band isnt exciting to me.
a true fan can look at an artist and have the courage to say, you know, your great at what you do, but this I didnt get.
Tania2194AD wrote:
guys you don't have a clue how it's all (in true form) hard to make this music...you only can talk and talk sitting on your chair

if you don't like their albums (some works) why you are still here....on the board...
you are never be like Halford or some of those guys who are playing and write all this for us all, for whole world
have you ever try to suggest them something..have an perspective ideas for their career...
you are not fans....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever heard the expression "preaching to the choir?" YOU are certainly doing it here.
You are not dealing with people who are NOT fans of Priest here. In fact, you are dealing with the hardcore followers. That said, it doesn't mean that we can't state why we like or dislike certain songs or even entire albums. To me, the entire Ripper-era was a complete wash. Couldn't stand that direction the rest of the band took and, while Ripper is an excellent singer, he didn't "fit." I have several hundreds of bootlegs but can't stand the Ripper-era ones. Everyone was good but he was simply NOT at the level of Halford. IMO, even his takes on the Priest classics were just poor attempts to put his own "spin" onto songs that are such a part of Priest that it is all but impossible to do. As I stated in other moments (years), I didn't like Ripper in Iced Earth either. Just didn't work.
Richie Faulkner, on the other hand, just stepped up and in! Sure, I'd like KK back but I saw Epitaph twice and don't regret it for a second. Do I wish KK was back writing on the new album? Of course!
So, how do you pigeonhole me as a fan? Moderate? Sorry, I have more than one person who knows me (online or in person) and would disagree in a heartbeat.
You mustn´t like this album, but you must respect the very hard and perfect work and the other fans! One song flows into another. So long, Trixie

its silly if you cant explain why you like an album too.
Now for the ripper albums I like jugulator, and even a little bit for Demo. why, they maintain that balance between the singer and the musicians
for you to not like those albums is to say you dont respect glen, kk, ian and scott.
it's good that you understand that it's difficult and bal..bla.......but you never can't understand the range of this album (Nostra)...and the meaning of the 2wo, or of the Fight.....
moreover it's not only the understanding of this music but you need to feel it in your own......to see it....
i know that everyone have their own opinion but your opinion is not intelligent in this way..... it looks silly and very....
unless to explain
you can't see (understand and feel) the thread of music....the golden 'string' of each song that Halford or JP had made in their albums....therefore you say like that.......

To "you and a small percentage of fanboys every album they do is golden so called". To the rest of us fans not everything they do is fuckin golden. They could put out an album that sounds just like Justin Beiber and YOU would like it,that to me is a joke, and I have just as much rights to say so as you do expressing your opinions. The albums Turbo,Ram It Down,Jugulator and Demolition are all shit albums in my opinion let alone my disliking for Nostradamus.

Think what you like, Trixi Tang, but I am of the opinion that, if one loves something/someone deeply, more words than just "I Love So-and-So" would be needed. Don't you think the Metal Gods deserve more than just a "I Love Judas Priest"? Maybe a sonnet?
What the hell is going on? Let´s talk about Judas Priest, man! Hi Boogiman; I don´t think so, that all on this page are real gentlemen, like you.
In my opinion, Rob is a real gentleman, he has a great behaviour and he is damned good looking, but I´m talking about a real gentleman have a decent behaviour, they don´t be rude to the others.
Jerri said, what I said in a short version. I wanted to describe my feelings. Love is the highest feeling ever! If he loves Judas Priest as we do, he had enough said about that!

Um. What?
Rob is a gentleman. That is about all I understood from that little diatribe and I agree. The rest is all but incomprehensible there, Trix. Lo siento.

Nah, I prefer "guidogodoy." Too bad that name is already taken.
Vail 3.5 might work, though! It can be considered unisex (not so sure boogers is even male) but that is neither here nor there.
Personally, I wish "it" would learn how to use the little link symbol on this page. Perhaps I'd visit a vid or two it posts if I didn't have to bother with a cut and paste.
That's the spirit ,Trixi.
Maybe if I changed my name to "guidogodoy" I would be considered a real gentleman, no?-----------------> ha ha ha !!

Wow, Jerri. Your words about Judas Priest are sooooo profound. I think my mind is exploding right now. I'm super cereal.

I Love Judas Priest

Hi Booger, you have also great and sensitive feelings about Rob Halford, too.
Fanatic fans enjoy every single scream, every single sound of every album and every single scene on the videos. I love the band how they are, forever and in the eternity, I´ve made only suggestions, because many fans wrote very positive meanings about Nostradamus and K. K. Downing on you tube and facebook. Also have a look to all Nostradamus Interviews, Glenn defended very self-confident his statement about creating, realizing and he wants to give Heavy Metal more possibilities and give it more room to experiment. Rob Halford is laughed when the Interviewers asked in every interview the same questions about changing their style, instead to talking about the high quality of this album! I think Rob can´t hear this anymore that gets on his nerves, therefore Rob gave the microphone to Glenn!
I´m really hypnotized, the band makes me breathless and high like a drug and the music burns in my heart. His charisma, enthusiasm, his loud, high voice, his energy and power is very erotically and amazing. Every scream of Rob Halford is better than sex and an orgasm! It is a divine fulfillment. “I´m a Rocker” is absolutely Rob´s message from his heart.
The music is sophisticated like classic, Judas Priest is the original and the one and only, the masters of Heavy Metal. They have perfection in every detail; I think every word is to less for the gods of the world. I try to put my feelings into words. The teamwork of the Priests is an extreme elation and a real treat in every single song from begin to the end and every concert is a high performance! I can´t expect the new album!
Hey Booger, Jerri and Tania, I would be delighted, if you write about your feelings to Judas Priest again. Your friend, Trixie
