No kidding. One day an exterminator came it to where I work, and well he's a chatty type fellow, but the last place he had been he had captured a Black Widow and put it in a vial of alcohol. That was about an hour before he came to my workplace and when he took the vial out and showed it to me, he shook the vial a bit and the thing still jerked it legs and clenched, so even dead, the nerves kept going and I suppose that little beast would still be dangerous if you just brushed up against in laying in a floor or something. Another bit of trivia for spider lore. The most common place people about a half century ago got bit by a black widow was on the arse. Black widows like cool damp places so it was not uncommon for one to be found in the backyard outhouse. Flesh eating venom that can kill you? Never seen THAT kind of thing in the north. Ah well, at least there are no cockroaches. Voila ici. The brown recluse (aka. fiddleback because of the upside-down fiddle on its body).
