Since they did trendy "hair glam rock",so if they do "disco" and "rap" and old 1980's "new wave" then that makes them "metal gods" Dale? Are you fucking kidding me? Since "when" have Priest ever done "thrash"? If you say Painkiller I'm going to slap the uneducated metalhead right out of you!!!! "Painkiller" is nowhere fucking NEAR "thrash" and it sickens me when people say this,its total fucking BULLSHIT and those who say this don't know what thrash really is. Shoot! Turbo was a rather underrated album IMHO. Yeah it was different but there's nothing wrong with experimenting and it still distinctly has that Priest sound.
Many of the songs are fun and catchy and could quite easily have come from a Def Leppard album but IMHO there nothing wrong with that. It's just shows how versatile priest are.
Prog Rock, Classic Rock, NWOBHM, Glam, Thrash, Preist have indulged in them all. How many other bands can say that?

maybe hallfdord somewhot misssed the mark lyrikally on turbo, but i stil hthink its a judas preist clasic. its teh album that turned me and many otehrs into priest fanns. so i gues its not hthat bad of an album. i reely like it.

At the time of the release,the Priest members should of been taken out back to a shed and should have been beaten over the head with a REAL heavy metal album! lol! They were a bunch of fuckin posers that were capping on the commercial "trend" at that time trying to pass the shit "Terbo"(as you seem to spell it lofl!)album off to us "real" heavy metal fans,and it was,is and forever will be "pathetic". Fuck Priest for doing that. "Terbo"....lofl!!! |

| turbo hit at agreat time in the 80s we were in kelowna bc canada at the annual regatta (shit show ) and there must have been 300 cars pulling mainers and the tunes were cranked mettallica slayer crue and of course the priest and i remember it getting dusk and we were just flashed by some girls and wild nights hot and crazy days came on the stereo and it was just perfectly timed great memories of that album and those times and when i hear it i go back to those times!!!!! thanks priest!!!! |

I Love the Turbo album, when I listen to "Locked In" or "Turbo Lover" I get this energy... Its crazy! When I feel wasted after an awful day, I just need to listen "Turbo Lover" and then everything seems better. I don't understand why people say they don't like this album! It's awesome! but this is just my opinion...
